Janis Timma is a Latvian professional basketball player who currently plays for Zenit Saint Petersburg in the VTB United League and the EuroLeague. He was born on July 2, 1992, in Ogre, Latvia. Timma began his basketball career at a young age and quickly showed his potential. He played for the youth teams of BK Ogre before making his professional debut with the club in 2009.
