What to Expect in Witch Grom Mercury Episode 4

By admin

In episode 4 of the web series "Witch from Mercury," the story takes an intriguing turn. The primary focus of this episode is on the character development of the main protagonist, Luna. At the beginning of the episode, Luna finds herself feeling lost and unsure of her purpose as a witch from Mercury. She questions whether she truly belongs in the magical world and if she has what it takes to fulfill her destiny. This self-doubt is a relatable emotion that many viewers can empathize with. As Luna seeks guidance and counsel from her mentor, Artemis, she discovers a hidden talent within herself.

It definitely takes some planning to put our costumes together, but I have to admit, I pretty much love it! And I figured I’d start detailing pretty easy group costume guides- you know, put that planning and figuring to good use for someone else. 😉 Also, can you even handle that cutest cowardly lion in the WHOLE WORLD.

Then, the year they were doing Star Wars themed costumes, they were going to Luke and Leia who are brother and sister and assumed that, of course, Adam and I would be Darth Vader and Padme Luke and Leia s parents. Just a little spendy but I might swing it just because, 1 I love Halloween and I d wear the costume again and 2, this kind of event is right up my little bike riding alley.

As Luna seeks guidance and counsel from her mentor, Artemis, she discovers a hidden talent within herself. She has the ability to manipulate time, a skill that not many witches possess. This revelation sparks a newfound confidence in Luna and makes her realize that she has a unique and important role to play in the magical realm.

Help! Need a Mrs. Gulch (Wizard of Oz) dress

Our neighborhood is always doing something fun for the kids for Halloween. This year, a historic organization is hosting a Witches Ride in which ladies dress up as witches and dress up their bikes and ride through the neighborhood throwing candy to the kids like a parade.
I have a GREAT cruiser bike with a basket on the front so I can put a ToTo-looking stuffed dog inside but I need an Elmira Gulch dress to go with it.
I found a great steampunk type dress but it is $180 and is maybe a tad much for riding a bike.

Any ideas of what to get or what to search for online? I've been pouring through eBay but feel like I'm missing something.

Oh! And I can perfectly imitate the "I'll get you my pretty and your little dog, too," and cackle. Like, I do it so well, the kids ALWAYS ask me to do it and it is SO loud too!! I love that I can do that.

Search eBay for something like Victorian Dress or Costume Black. Also, you never know what might come up at your local thrift store. We had pretty good luck in the years that DD was in theater. You could buy a dress in another color and dye it black.

The bike ride sounds like a cute idea.

Almira Gulch's dress wasn't black. I mean, it was a black and white movie, so I couldn't tell you what color it was, but if you google an image of it, it is a lighter shade. More of a mid range color. What about finding a button up blouse and a thrift store skirt? Even a long dress that you cut as a skirt and then just wear a belt to blend the two together. I would aim for something in either dark tan, grey, or olive green. That seems very Almira Gulch like.

Here is a link to a blouse that is similar to what she wore. Unfortunately it is mauve, but you could die it grey. Then find or make a big skirt. It is supposed to be pleated at the bottom, but you could probably do without that detail as long as the rest was similar and you include the hat and little black tie at the neck.

What a fun neighborhood you have!! You will have to remember to get a picture for us of your final look. Is there some way you could do the phrase and record it for us? I'd love to hear that!

I'd try to find a gray skirt and blouse and tie a little black tie/bow at the neck of the blouse. Long skirt slightly full at the bottom to allow for the bike, and fitted blouse maybe mutton chop sleeves.

Hat for sure as well, black.

Sorry, me again. If you sew, here is a pattern for a blouse that would work.

I agree!! It looks like she wore a tan or grey color in the movie.

I am going to go to the thrift store later next week and see what I can come up with but I did find this little number on eBay and the seller has some other great pieces. Just a little spendy but I might swing it just because, #1 I love Halloween and I'd wear the costume again and #2, this kind of event is right up my little bike riding alley. Not going to ride my road bike but my cruiser is so perfect.

Oh that is an awesome blouse and you wouldn't have to dye it to use it. I would rather pay that than have to sew one, personally. And I do sew. I wouldn't mind doing the skirt, because a full skirt would be easy. I have a pleating attachment for my machine, so I would go ahead and do the pleated part on the bottom of the skirt, but making a whole blouse, not anymore. I used to sew for myself and my son, but it has been years. I'm no perumbula ! Save Save

How are ya gonna get that sour look down she has?

And I just was talking about her yesterday.
I was looking at a star called Mira and it reminded me of this name: Mira Gulch. In my head I was hearing it being played out when one woman said "Now, Mira Gulch".
I asked boyfriend where Mira Gulch comes from.
He said the witch from The Wizard Of Oz.
It didn't hit me yet, so I was like the good witch?
And he's like, no the lady who takes Toto.
Oh, before Dorothy is not in Kansas any more
Then he brought over a magazine he was looking at showing me the feature name on it called The Wiz. ( a new NBC show I guess ). He was mocking me that it was a 'syrchronicity' that I was just talking about The Wizard Of Oz. But no, I didn't count that as one.
But this Mira thing I definitely do!

I am definitely NOT! But I was thinking how nice it would be if she lived next door! I can sew but just do not have the time right now. (grad school) My mother sews some but we don't have any great fabric stores around here anymore now that our Hancock's have all closed.
I think I might be able to find a skirt at the thrift store that might work. If not, I can always get one of these and use it again for a Mary Poppins costume.
I'm so excited but I'm not telling anyone what I'm doing. I gotta find a good stuffed ToTo now!

Her name is Almira Gulch, and it means "salty" which I find fitting for her character.
I think I am the first witch to register for this event and I am having such a hard time not talking about it. I am keeping my fingers crossed that there is a little Dorothy along my path.

I am going to try to find her theme music to play too while I'm riding. I'm sure I can find it somewhere. I have a little portable speaker I think will be loud enough.

I'm excited for you too, it sounds like so much fun. I volunteered at a wizard of oz themed crop for charity hosted by scrapbook royalty which is now known as charity wings. I wore my Dorothy costume and encountered some scarecrows and witches but no other Dorothies!
It was so fun. I can't wait until my kids are old enough for me to start going back to those all day types of events.
