Medicine Mama’s Apothecary Sweet Bee Magic Review
A few weeks ago I reached out to Medicine Mama’s Apothecary to see if they would be willing to work with me on a product review. They were kind enough to send me samples of their organic healing skin cream – Sweet Bee Magic and their intimate skin cream.
The healing skin cream “promotes radiant facial skin, heals rashes, burns and scars, relives painful sunburn, moisturizes dry or irritated skin, repairs cracked, dry heels.”
The skin cream is 100% organic and made of organic extra virgin olive oil, organic beeswax, organic honey, propolis extract, bee pollen and royal jelly. It is also fragrance free. At least to me, I do not have a very good sense of smell.
Over the last few week I’ve been using it for numerous issues to see how my body would react. I am delighted to say, everything I have used it for my body has not had any negaitve reaction.
I suffer from super dry skin, except for my face. I work in retail and my hands are constantly dry from the continuous washing or sanitizing when I don’t have time to run and wash my hands. The first thing I did was try this on my hands and I can not tell you what a great difference it has made. My skin is no longer dry and cracked.
It’s winter here in Pennsylvania and although this winter has not been as cold as the past few, my lips are also very dry. I am not a fan of chapstick or lip balm for the most part because I feel like those things leave a grimy residue behind, but not this. My lips absolutely love it.
The skin on my legs is terribly sensitive from constant shaving. No matter what razor, shaving cream or conditioner I use, my skin always reacts. Thankfully the sweet bee magic has even soothed and solved that problem.
In the last two years I have lost over 150 pounds with just diet and exercise, but due to my rapid weight loss I am left with stretch marks on my thighs and stomach. This has even helped fade and soften those!
Unfortunately, due to my oily skin I have not been brave enough to use it on my face. I have some post acne scars and I wonder if that would help those, but I have had them for so long…I really don’t know. I will try it on my face eventually, but I do need a day when I am home all day.
It’s a great product but due to the oil in it, it is a bit oily feeling, hence my hesitation to put it on my face. It has worked amazingly for everything else, though!
I’ve used up a full sample and have dug into the second. Sweet Bee Magic is a wonderful product and just a little goes a long way. I highly recommend it.
