Welch spent time in New York while writing some of the group’s latest LP. “I’ve fallen out of a lot of New York taxis,” she said at the May show in Brooklyn, “and left my phone in a lot of New York taxis.” But the city also provided inspiration, including a poem titled “New York Poem (For Polly),” which spawned the would-be album title High As Hope.

1. Sarah - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Whitw witch perfume. I had heard great things about it, but when I finally tried it, I was left unimpressed. The scent was overwhelming and it didn't blend well with my body chemistry. It smelled like cheap air freshener rather than a luxurious perfume. I won't be purchasing it again.
2. Mark - 1 star - I absolutely hated the Whitw witch perfume. It had a very strong floral scent that gave me a headache as soon as I sprayed it. It smelled like an old lady's perfume, which is not the type of fragrance I prefer. Additionally, the longevity of the perfume was terrible. Within an hour, the scent completely disappeared. I was really disappointed with this purchase.
3. Emma - 3 stars - I neither loved nor hated the Whitw witch perfume. The scent was okay, but it didn't stand out to me. It was very generic and I felt like I could find similar fragrances at a much lower price. The longevity was also lacking, as I had to reapply it multiple times throughout the day. Overall, it was an average perfume and I wouldn't repurchase it.
4. Alex - 2 stars - The Whitw witch perfume did not live up to the hype for me. The scent was too overpowering and it clashed with my own body odor, which made it even worse. It had a very artificial smell, almost like a chemical, and I found it to be quite unpleasant. I'm glad I only purchased a sample size before committing to a full bottle.
