Magics Beach Grill is located right next door on the ocean to the famous Kona beach Magic Sands Beach. the smoked Ahi chowder is a complete winner as is their amazing pasta. The ambiance of this location simply cannot be beat. You will be sitting directly above the oceanfront beach location while waves and schools of fish offer you with lots to enjoy. This restaurant has been around for many years and there is a good reason why. The tradition of great Kona food here is something that keeps visitors coming back time and time again. Their pork skillet and garlic shrimp also offer two more wonderful options.
One of the best parts of coming to Magics Beach Grill is that the staff is super friendly and the food comes out quickly. Very rarely will you have to wait long to be seated although reservations are always recommended. If you have never tried their roasted beet poke or vegetable tempura than it is time to come and visit. Magic Sands Beach right next door offers some really good swimming along with fun on the boogie boards. This is a beach with life guards but you need to be super careful as the waves break quickly.
If you desire a good dessert they have creme brulee and banana bread too. Magics Beach Grill also has a really fun drink to try, it has cucumber and coconut in it and is perfect for those hot beach days. If you are simply just looking for a nice drink or alcoholic beverage their bar is positioned perfectly overlooking the ocean and beach. What a great location and atmosphere to spend the day or afternoon. Parking around here can get filled up quickly so it is best to be patient or come in the early morning and go to the beach before lunch. Another incredible restaurant in Kona's Ali'i Drive district.
