Samhain on October 31st is perhaps the most well-known Wiccan festival, also known as Halloween. It marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the darker half of the year. It is a time to honor and remember loved ones who have passed away and to celebrate the thinning of the veil between the physical and spiritual realms. Finally, Yule on December 21st celebrates the winter solstice, the longest night of the year.
