The pagan year cycle follows a series of seasonal celebrations that are rooted in ancient pagan traditions. In 2022, this cycle will include the traditional eight Sabbats or festivals, which mark the beginning of each season and honor the cycles of nature. These celebrations are often observed by modern pagans, Wiccans, and other Earth-based spiritual traditions. The year begins with Imbolc, which takes place on February 2nd. This festival celebrates the return of the light and the first signs of spring. It is a time for purification, inspiration, and setting intentions for the year ahead.

Does bojji have his spell removed

It is a time for purification, inspiration, and setting intentions for the year ahead. Next is Ostara, which occurs around March 20th, marking the spring equinox. It is a time to welcome the balance between day and night and to celebrate fertility and new beginnings.

Bojji no Jutsu – Ousama Ranking Ep 14 Review

Bojji and Hiling finally make up, while the Knights of the Underworld clean up Ouken’s mess. This is a review and discussion for Ousama Ranking Episode 14.

Check out our previous episode review here.

Oh, my heart feels so full after watching this episode.

I don’t even know where to really begin – but I am glad Bojji and Hiling made up.

Bojji and Hiling finally made up! Ousama Ranking Ep 14

It’s also nice that Kage revealed to Hiling that Bojji can understand Kage due to reading lips, and that Bojji has been able to ‘hear’ what they have been saying the entire time – even if he can’t ‘communicate’ back to them them ‘properly’ without using sign language.

The weird tension and misunderstandings putting a stranglehold on Bojji and Hiling’s relationship seemingly vanished once she saw his strength.

Plus – Bojji got a new retainer out of the situation!

So far, Bojji has:

The Underworld Knights

Assorted Hell Hounds

And of course, Queen Hiling all in his corner.

This is great, considering where we started weeks ago in this story.

We could add Bosse and Daida into the mix, but I’ll leave them out for now.

Speaking of Daida – that flashback of the village on fire really messed with me!

Here I was thinking that Bosse refused to leave jail and help Hiling out, but came down to town just to show up Bojji. Then we got Daida’s overdramatized expression, and Bosse’s body in the flesh carrying a huge basin of water.

Daida blushes, approving of his father’s strength while simultaneously “looking down” on the weakness of his brother.

What’s really interesting here though, is that Bosse was still sick. He coughed up blood and tried to hide it from the surrounding audience of his heroic kingly deed…but I’m wondering if that had to do with the terms of his demonic agreement?

After all, in most stories the demon tricks the wish-maker in some way, shape, or form. Why on earth would the demon wait around for Bosse to live a long and healthy life before consuming his soul?

The story already introduced the laws of alchemy with Miranjo last week, so it would make sense that despite Bosse ‘sacrificing’ Bojji’s strength, he would still somehow ‘sacrifice’ his own health, as well.

In this same vein, we see that Daida got some of Bosse’s giant strength.

Daida inherited some of King Bosse’s strength. But, what did he inherit from his mother, Hiling? From Ranking of Kings Ep 14

Although I wonder if it’s actually some of Bojji’s strength that’s been parted onto him due to the nature of the deal. Despite this – maybe Daida’s inherited abilities from Hiling have to do with, well, ‘healing’.

Which is why Daida is sitting and talking to child Miranjo, and why Hiling could hear him despite Bosse’s will imposed on his body – Daida has some sort of light ability, or magic.

I know that sounds a little half-baked right now, but if Desha can coordinate a literal lightning strike just by learning coordinates from his brother while speaking through their hands almost telepathically…anything is possible in this show.

Bojji gets a glimpse of how Despa sees the world. Ousama Ranking Ep 14

I wonder if the narrative is now alluding to Miranjo possibly gaining a form of immortality, or a fusion of the soul. Given light of Ouken’s situation, it seems like the “true” him was lost long ago. Which may explain Desha’s desire to “go to war” with Bosse’s kingdom out of a ‘divine’ punishment for dabbling with magic he should not have, which threatens both of their kingdoms.

Maybe Miranjou’s current form is the embodiment of the ‘divine hermaphrodite’ – a sort of rebis resulting from a great work, or ritualistic spell. After all, I think it was a little boy Miranjo was running through the forest with in the opening sequence.

A male, a female, unlimited power…

But again, who really knows?

I’m excited to see what happens next week.

Tell me your thoughts.

Bojji gains a new retainer in Gigan. Ousama Ranking Ep 14

Why did Queen Hiling sense an ‘aura of evil’ on Kage?

And does this have anything to do with the cryptic line we got earlier of Kage’s true form being hidden?

Did Bosse tell Bebin something while in jail, and that is why Mitsumata came to save the day?

I dropped "To Your Eternity" after episode 12. The depressing developments had become too predictable. Calling it "misery porn" seems right.

This is often symbolized by the colorful eggs and the growth of flowers and plants. Beltane follows on May 1st and is a celebration of the peak of spring and the arrival of summer. It is a time of fertility, passion, and the union of the divine masculine and feminine energies. Bonfires, dancing, and the weaving of flower crowns are common practices during this festival. The summer solstice, known as Litha, takes place around June 21st, marking the longest day of the year. This is a time to honor the power of the sun, abundance, and the fullness of life. Many pagans gather to watch the sunrise and engage in rituals that celebrate the energy and vitality of the sun. Lammas, also called Lughnasadh, is celebrated on August 1st. It is a festival that recognizes the first harvest and the concept of sacrifice. This is a time to give thanks for the abundance of the land and to acknowledge the cycle of life, death, and rebirth. Mabon, occurring around September 21st, marks the autumn equinox. It is a time to celebrate the harvest and the balance between night and day. Pagans often gather for feasts, gratitude rituals, and to reflect on the cycle of life and the approaching season of introspection. Samhain, celebrated on October 31st, is perhaps the most well-known pagan festival, commonly associated with Halloween. It marks the end of the harvest and the beginning of winter. It is a time to honor ancestors, remember the deceased, and reflect on our own mortality. Many pagans engage in divination and communication with the spirit world during this festival. Lastly, Yule occurs around December 21st, marking the winter solstice. This is the longest night of the year and the turning point towards the return of the light. This festival celebrates the rebirth of the sun and the return of longer days, symbolizing hope and new beginnings. In 2022, pagans and those following the pagan year cycle will likely engage in ceremonies, rituals, and gatherings to honor these Sabbats. These celebrations provide an opportunity to connect with nature, reflect on the cyclical nature of life, and find meaning within the changing seasons..
