Once upon a time, in a small village nestled deep in the woods, lived a witch named Selena. She was known for her mischievous tricks and her ability to transform into various creatures. The potion began to bubble and swirl, emitting a vibrant purple hue. Selena knew something extraordinary was about to happen.

Divine spring goddess

Selena knew something extraordinary was about to happen. As the smoke cleared, she discovered that her powers had undergone a peculiar transformation. To her surprise, Selena could no longer transform into different creatures.

Divine Spring

There are many Divine Springs found all around Nippon, they are always found down a hole. Sometimes a bomb is need to blow up a crack but other times you just need to Power Slash a rock. Most Divine Springs have lots of goodies in them such as many Treasure Chests, bloomable Cherry Trees and Clovers and whole families of animals that give out hundreds of Praise when fed. One Divine Spring even holds the final Blockhead.

However some Divine Springs have areas in them that you can donate money to the gods. Donating enough Yen will earn you a Secret Brush Technique. There are four of these in Nippon and they are found beneath a bombable patch of black earth with a golden crack in it. Tossing the yen into the pool at the back of it will cause a Brush God to appear and they will grant Amaterasu the technique. These Divine Springs also have bloomable plants and feedable animals but not as many.

Instead, her powers allowed her to switch bodies with anyone she desired. Although she initially found this transformation alarming, she quickly realized the potential for mischief and adventure. Selena decided to use her newfound powers responsibly, finding ways to bring happiness and laughter to others. She would switch bodies with grumpy villagers, teaching them the importance of laughter and kindness. The once gloomy village started to bloom with joy as Selena's mischievous pranks spread laughter and brought people closer together. However, not everyone appreciated Selena's antics. The wicked sorcerer, Marcus, envied her newfound abilities. He plotted to steal Selena's powers, hoping to use them for his own dark purposes. Marcus devised a cunning plan to trap Selena and steal her powers. Undeterred, Selena continued her joyful mischief, spreading laughter and happiness wherever she went. Little did she know that Marcus was closing in on her. One fateful day, as Selena switched bodies with the town's crankiest old man, Marcus sprang his trap. In a flash of darkness, Marcus captured Selena and imprisoned her in his tower. Determined to steal her powers, Marcus tried to switch bodies with Selena. However, little did he know that Selena's transformation was temporary, and she quickly regained her true form. Using her wits, Selena outsmarted Marcus and turned his own trap against him. With a flick of her wand, Selena switched bodies with Marcus. Now trapped in his own tower, Marcus vowed to mend his wicked ways and repent for his misdeeds. With Marcus defeated, Selena returned to the village, where she was celebrated as a hero. The villagers thanked her for bringing laughter and joy into their lives. Selena realized that her temporary transformation had taught her the true value of her original powers – spreading happiness and love. From that day forward, Selena continued to use her magic to bring happiness to others. She brought smiles to the faces of children, healed the sick, and made sure laughter was never far away. The witch that switched had learned a valuable lesson and used her powers for the greater good. And so, the village lived happily ever after, knowing that they were protected by the mischievous witch who had once switched bodies but found her true purpose in spreading joy and happiness..

"I found The Witch that Switched to be incredibly tedious and unoriginal. The plot felt cliché and predictable, with no real surprises or memorable moments. The characters were one-dimensional and lacked any depth or complexity, making it hard to care about their struggles or root for their success. Furthermore, the dialogue was stilted and unnatural, making it difficult for me to immerse myself in the story. Overall, I would suggest skipping this book altogether and opting for a more captivating read."

"The Witch that Switched had potential, but unfortunately, it failed to deliver. The storytelling felt disjointed and confusing, with a jumbled narrative that jumped around without any clear direction. This made it hard for me to follow along and left me feeling detached from the story. Additionally, the writing style was lackluster, lacking in descriptive language and failing to create a vivid and engaging atmosphere. While the premise was intriguing, the execution left much to be desired. I would recommend looking elsewhere for a more captivating and well-crafted fantasy read."
