Midnight Occult Civil Servants is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yōko Tamotsu. It has also been adapted into an anime series. The story follows the protagonist, Arata Miyako, who is a new recruit in the Shinjuku Ward Office's Nighttime Regional Relations Department. This department deals with various supernatural and otherworldly issues that occur during the night. Arata Miyako is a character who is quite reserved and seemingly ordinary.
