The Navajo witch purgee refers to a historical event that took place among the Navajo people in the 1870s. It was a period marked by fear, paranoia, and violence within the Navajo community. The witch purgee was a response to a belief in the existence of witches or sorcerers who were believed to possess supernatural powers and used them to harm others. During this time, the Navajo people experienced various hardships, such as crop failure, illness, and death. These difficult circumstances led many to attribute their misfortunes to the presence of witches within their community. As a result, a witch purgee was initiated to identify and eliminate these supposed witches.

As a result, a witch purgee was initiated to identify and eliminate these supposed witches. The purgee involved the Navajo people coming together to accuse individuals they believed to be witches. These accused individuals were subjected to harsh treatment, often involving torture and public humiliation.

In December 2022 Hasbro was kind enough to provide Ben's World of Transformers with an exclusive Magic: The Gathering bundle focused on their recent "Secret Lair" release. Some accused witches were burned alive, while others were stoned to death or tied to a post and shot with arrows. The witch purgee had a profound impact on the Navajo community. It caused divisions among the people, as accusations were often based on personal rivalries or conflicts. Many innocent individuals were falsely accused and suffered injustice as a result. The purgee also weakened the social fabric of the Navajo community, as trust and solidarity were eroded in the face of suspicion and paranoia.
