1. Jane - 2/5 stars - I was really disappointed with "Heaven and Earth Magic". I found the plot to be confusing and disjointed, and I struggled to connect with any of the characters. The pacing was incredibly slow, and I often found my mind wandering. Overall, I just couldn't get into this book and wouldn't recommend it to others.

The author seemed more interested in showing off their vocabulary than telling a cohesive story. I found myself skimming through the pages just to get to the end and felt extremely disappointed with this book.
