Jogging/running is really where I see the best use for this personally. I can comfortably wear this while running and not get tangled. It really boils down to the dog. They have to learn the limits and rhythm of this leash before I felt comfortable without putting my hands on the leash. It gradually became less and less of an impulse to reach for the leash as I am running. I am far less comfortable riding something with this attached to me because if I am pulled suddenly I have way less control while if I am on my feet I can redirect the dog and continue on our way.
