Uncovering the Dark Secrets of the Ruby Red Temple

By admin

The ruby red temple is rumored to be cursed, with an evil spell that lingers within its walls. Legend has it that those who enter the temple are doomed to suffer the consequences of the curse. The temple, once a place of worship and reverence, has now become a symbol of dread and fear. It is said that the curse was placed on the temple by an ancient sorcerer who sought revenge on those who had wronged him. With his knowledge of dark magic, he conjured up a spell that would bring misery and despair to anyone who dared to step foot inside the temple. The curse is believed to affect all who enter the temple, whether they are pure of heart or not.

I often see people saying that using an Evil spell for good ends is still an evil act, but no one argues that using a Good spell for evil ends is still a good act.

Evil spell of the ruby red temple

The curse is believed to affect all who enter the temple, whether they are pure of heart or not. Once inside, victims are plagued by a series of unfortunate events, from relentless nightmares to unexplained physical ailments. Some have even claimed to have seen apparitions or heard voices whispering in their ears.

In our current campaign my party has entered a fouled temple of nature. It was taken over by a god of Death/Undead. I am playing a 3rd level cleric of a god of Duty, Oath and the Sun.

My problem is I want to cleanse the temple when we get to the main altar area but the spells in the PHB that I would like to use really are not designed to do any thing but make the cleric a walking MASH unit.

These are the spells that I have been thinking about using to cleanse the temple. Any suggestions on spell tweaking or even new spells that would help me out.

Bless and holy water. Lots of holy water. Get yourself one of those ambergills thingies for spraying holy water everywhere when you run into the undead.

yeah id agree with BT, holy water is best way to go if u can get it in quantities. in 1 of my games the players are trying to do the same thing u are. They set up a watch around the complex of hired guards and went out adventuring tryin to raise enough cash to afford all the holy water that it will take to cleanse the keep.

We are in too deep now and cannot get back out for large amounts of holy water there are no large cities with temples nearby anyway.

Personally, if I have a good-aligned PC/NPC, I would never cast an evil-descriptor spell. It would just be something most of those characters wouldn't dream of doing. Some may be tempted, which could be good for roleplaying purposes, and some of those may eventually be drawn towards those powers and be set upon the path towards neutrality or even downright evil.
Evil spell of the ruby red temple

The curse has had a profound effect on the surrounding community. Many believe that the evil energies emanating from the temple have tainted the land, causing crops to wither and animals to fall ill. It is not uncommon to hear stories of people going mad or disappearing after coming into contact with the curse. Despite the warnings and tales of doom, there are those who still attempt to enter the temple, either out of curiosity or a desire to prove the existence of the curse. However, none have returned unscathed. It seems the curse is relentless, showing no mercy to those who dare to challenge its power. The ruby red temple stands as a stark reminder of the dangers that lurk in the world of magic and sorcery. It serves as a cautionary tale, warning all who hear of its curse to stay far away. The evil spell of the ruby red temple has left a lasting mark on those who have experienced its wrath, forever binding them to its dark legacy..

Reviews for "Casting Away the Tragic Fate of the Ruby Red Temple"

1. John - 1 star
This book, "Evil Spell of the Ruby Red Temple" was a complete waste of time. The plot was dull and predictable, and the characters lacked depth and development. It felt like the author was just going through the motions, without any real passion or imagination. The writing style was also very amateurish, with awkward phrasing and repetitive descriptions. Overall, I would not recommend this book to anyone looking for an engaging and well-written fantasy novel.

I had high hopes for "Evil Spell of the Ruby Red Temple", but unfortunately, it fell short of my expectations. The story started off promising, but it quickly became repetitive and uninteresting. The main characters were quite bland, and their motivations were not well explained. Additionally, the pacing was inconsistent, with long stretches of nothing happening and then sudden bursts of rushed action. I was also disappointed with the ending, as it felt rushed and unsatisfying. Overall, I found this book to be mediocre at best.

"Evil Spell of the Ruby Red Temple" had an interesting premise, but it failed to deliver on multiple fronts. The world-building was shallow and underdeveloped, leaving me with little understanding or investment in the story. The dialogue was clunky and unnatural, making it difficult to connect with the characters. The author also relied heavily on clichés and tropes, making the plot feel predictable and uninspired. The potential was there, but unfortunately, it was not executed well. I would recommend giving this book a pass.
