In World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King (WotLK), the dying spell is an important aspect of gameplay that affects both players and non-player characters (NPCs). When a character's health reaches zero, they enter a dying state, where they are unable to take any actions. During this time, they have a limited amount of time to receive healing or a resurrection to be brought back to life. During the dying state, players and NPCs have a few options. If a player has a resurrection ability, they can use it to bring themselves or other players back to life. This typically involves a casting time and can be interrupted by enemies or other players.
Note: There is usually only one consonant between the silent e and the preceding vowel to produce a long vowel sound. In some cases, two consonants may also have the same effect, such as a table, paste, and bathe.
It happens when the letter e appears in the second letter of a split digraph with another vowel sound, such as in the word like , cake, puke, and hive.
