Ferio magic knight rayeartb

Ferio is a young and talented swordsman whom the Knights meet in the depths of the Forest of Silence. His boyish features are kind of hardened by a couple of scars on his left cheek and nose. Golden eyes and round earrings of the very same color enlighten his warm, cunning grin; short wild green hair, cheekily tied in a little tail, along with a typical outfit of Cephiro's villagers, completes the carefree look of this young boy. Only a small left shoulder plate suggests he's not a simple rogue, and of course his impressive weapon too. During the second part of the show, instead, he wears a fancy prince-like white robe. Ferio carries nonchalantly around a long broadsword, that looks quite heavy and unfit for its owner's skinny arms. Ferio doesn't use magic at all. Despite all appearances, he's utterly quick and strong against his enemies, slashing thru them with his lethal blade. He basically gained all his experience wandering aimlessly in monster filled areas and dangerous zones. Relying on his speed and brains he now looks like a perfect self-made knight who developed a great skill learning the hard way.

Ferio is a very interesting guy, whose role diverts a little from manga to anime. Since his first meeting with the Knights he seems to be a mysterious swordsman who wanders across Silence forest looking for Escudo and he tails after the girls, hoping to find the forest's exit. In reality he is Emerode's younger brother, who wants to rescue his sister from Zagato. In the manga he follows the girls and then, once learning about their true identity, he disappears giving Fuu one of his earrings as token of his devotion. In the anime he returns many times, unaware of the Pillar being his sister but willing to save her nonetheless. At first he betrays Knight's trust in attempt to get to the High priest, but he ends up saving them, because he understands they alone could accomplish Emerode's rescue. His help comes handy in several circumstances to save the day while the girls are fighting Zagato's minions. He also gives Fuu a communication device in the shape of a round jewel which was part of an identical twosome he always kept with him. When the Knights were fighting Innova (and loosing), Ferio was wondering about his life and somehow, he remembered something about him and Princess Emeraude. It turns out that he's actually Emeraude's little brother and his memory of his sister as Pillar was sealed under his own wish. Young Ferio asked his sister to erase his memory because he was well aware she was to think only of her duties as Pillar, and he didn't want to be a burden for her and distract her prayers. She sadly fulfilled his wish but gave him two round jewels which would still enable her to hear his voice, so she would never forget she had him has a brother. Emeraude's seal partially worn off as she weakened in her prison resulting in Ferio to start remembering. During that battle thru the magic jewel she decided to tell him about Inouva's weak spot, washing away any still resisting shreds of the seal, so he could promptly inform the Knights and state their victory.

Ferio is captivating, valorous, and perhaps a too mature for his age, though the girls are a little cautious around him in the beginning, he soon calms their fears and even captures the attention the gracious and keen Fuu. They start to be attracted to each other. and a love story blooms between them. It is true that he has a relatively short temper, especially in the beginning of the series when he seems to be par with Umi in terms of snapping at people. However, from getting to know people, he starts to mellow out. Perhaps this, along with his chivalrous actions, washed away Umi and in particular Fuu's suspicions. During their shared quest thru the Forest, Fuu an Ferio develop a special bond. Even though at fist she merely drags him in as bodyguard, gradually his charm gets the better of her and she's quite taken by him. Before leaving the girls, he entrusts one of his earrings with Fuu, who wears it on her finger even after returning to Tokyo. Ferio is actually Princess Emerode's younger brother, but it was revealed differently. In the manga, he knew all along - he just didn't want to tell. In the anime, his memory was sealed and it didn't come back to him until near the end of the first season. Of course, the girls don't find out about this until the beginning of the second season, when he discloses the information to the re-summoned Magic Knights, much to Fuu's despair who blamed herself even more for Emerode's death. His role in the second part of the show is minor, but his presence is a solid support for the Knights. Fuu and Ferio are the only official couple of the series, along with Caldina and Lafarga..

This mysterious young man first appears in the Forest of Silence (well, this is Cephiro, so he might be much older than he appears). He appears to be a skilled swordsman, but little else is known about him at this time. He wields a sword that's almost as big as he is. Although he was the victim of some trickery at their first meeting, Ferio seems quite smitten with Fuu!
