Upside Down Magic: 1

From New York Times bestselling authors Sarah Mlynowski, Lauren Myracle, and Emily Jenkins comes a new, offbeat series about a group of misfits who set out to prove that life on the other side of ordinary has its charms.

It’s never easy when your magic goes wonky.

For Nory, this means that instead of being able to turn into a dragon or a kitten, she turns into both of them at the same time—a dritten.

For Elliott, the simple act of conjuring fire from his fingertips turns into a fully frozen failure.

For Andres, wonky magic means he’s always floating in the air, bouncing off the walls, or sitting on the ceiling.

For Bax, a bad moment of magic will turn him into a . . . actually, he’d rather not talk about that.

Nory, Elliott, Andres, and Bax are just four of the students in Dunwiddle Magic School’s Upside-Down Magic class. In their classroom, lessons are unconventional, students are unpredictable, and magic has a tendency to turn wonky at the worst possible moments. Because it’s always amazing, the trouble a little wonky magic can cause . . .

From the Author:

A note from Sarah Mlynowski:

In a world where everyone has magical powers, what happens when eight kids can’t get their magic to work properly? Well, they’re put in an upside-down magic class. But is upside down the new right-side up?

I wrote this book with Lauren Myracle and Emily Jenkins, two brilliant writers who happen to be two of my closest friends. How do three people write a book together? In a nutshell: I outline, Lauren writes the first draft, and Emily edits. But we all do a lot of everything.

The best thing about working with friends is that because we love and respect each other, it’s completely okay to share ridiculous ideas. In fact, it’s encouraged. The best scenes come from ridiculous ideas. Our friendship gives us the freedom to jump as high as we can—and to trust that we are each other’s built in net. Just in case any of the ideas are a little too upside-down.

Happy reading and have a magical day.

Reviews for "CurseForge Fabric's role in fostering creative expression in Minecraft"

1. Jake - 2/5 - I was really disappointed with Curse Forge Fabric. I found it to be extremely confusing and difficult to use. The documentation was not helpful at all, and I had a hard time getting the mod I wanted to work with my game. The interface was clunky and unintuitive, and I ended up giving up and finding a different modding platform to use. Overall, not a great experience.
2. Sarah - 1/5 - Curse Forge Fabric was a nightmare to deal with. The installation process was overly complicated and time-consuming. It seemed like every step had a potential for error, and I felt like I was playing a game of trial and error just to get it to work. On top of that, the mods available were very limited compared to other platforms. I eventually gave up and switched to a different modding tool that was much easier to use.
3. Ryan - 2/5 - I had high hopes for Curse Forge Fabric, but it fell short of my expectations. The mod selection was quite limited, and I couldn't find some of the popular mods that I wanted to use. The platform itself was also quite sluggish and would often freeze or crash while I was trying to browse or download mods. Overall, it felt like a poorly executed modding tool and I would not recommend it.
