The Curse of the Pharaohs is the second major expansion pack for the action-adventure video game, Assassin's Creed Origins. Developed by Ubisoft Montreal and released in March 2018, it adds a significant amount of gameplay content to the base game. The expansion takes place four years after the events of the main game and follows Bayek, the protagonist, as he embarks on a new journey in the afterlife. The expansion introduces a new storyline centered around a curse that has been unleashed upon Egypt by the resurrected pharaohs. These pharaohs, who have returned from the dead, seek revenge against the living and only Bayek can put an end to their reign of terror. Players are transported to a new region called Thebes, which serves as the primary setting for the expansion.

I was really excited to play "AC Origins Curse of the Pharaohs", but I found it extremely disappointing. The main story was weak and felt unnecessary, with a lot of pointless fetch quests and repetitive side missions. The gameplay mechanics felt clunky and not well-polished, making combat frustrating and exploration tedious. Additionally, the graphics were underwhelming and lacked the stunning visuals I had come to expect from the Assassin's Creed franchise. Overall, this expansion did not add any value to the game for me.

I have been a fan of the Assassin's Creed series for years, but "AC Origins Curse of the Pharaohs" didn't live up to my expectations. Although the concept of ancient Egyptian mythology seemed intriguing, the execution fell short. The storyline felt convoluted and disconnected from the main game, making it difficult for me to stay engaged. Furthermore, the new enemies introduced in this expansion felt overpowered and unbalanced, leading to numerous frustrating encounters. While the expansion had its moments of beauty and interesting historical moments, it ultimately did not enhance my overall enjoyment of the game.
