Indore: A five-kilometre run on Tuesday saw participation of hundreds of people to mark ongoing celebration of Indore Gaurav Divas. The main event, to be attended by chief minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan, will be organised at Nehru Stadium on Wednesday evening.

“All preparations for the main event of Indore Gaurav Divas have been completed in Nehru Stadium,” the collector said, adding that a musical band would perform at 6pm, followed by Krishnaleela at 6.30pm, while the CM will arrive at 7.05pm and will be welcomed by a group of 50 musicians. After the CM and Indore mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava will deliver his speech. On the occasion, Ragini Makkhar Group will perform on life of Devi Ahilyabai Holkar, followed by a light and sound show.

“Noted singer Sunidhi Chouhan will perform at 8.20pm before a grand show of fireworks to mark Indore Gaurav Divas. Entry in Nehru Stadium will be free,” he said.
