As with last time there is a lot of drama surrounding this launch. I couldn’t even give a small run-down of it all even if we both had all of the time in the world. If you’ve landed on this post, I’m sure you’ve heard of most of it.
Originally I wasn’t sure if I even wanted to bother with this launch. I liked and still use the original Morphe x Jaclyn Hill Eyeshadow Palette but the chatter I was hearing and seeing on the quality control regarding The Vault palettes and everything else gave me pause.
On launch day I decided to suck it up and order the Dark Magic Eyeshadow Palette. The colors of this palette spoke to me the most and seemed the most unlike anything I had here. The shade Diversion was also a major selling point for me.
Plus…. you know I always like to see for myself how a palette performs vs. listening to the masses!

I was really disappointed with the West Coast Magic Analog LSB Bank. First of all, the build quality was incredibly poor. The knobs were loose and wobbly, and the whole module felt cheaply made. Secondly, the sound quality was subpar. The analog to digital conversion was noisy and introduced a lot of unwanted artifacts into the audio signal. Overall, I regret purchasing this module and would not recommend it to anyone.

I had high hopes for the West Coast Magic Analog LSB Bank, but it fell short of my expectations. The user interface was confusing and not intuitive at all. It took me a long time to figure out how to use the various features, and even then, the results were underwhelming. The sound it produced lacked depth and character, and I found myself constantly tweaking the settings to try and get something pleasing to my ears. For the price, there are definitely better options out there.

It lacked warmth and richness, and I found it hard to integrate into my music setup. I was really disappointed with this module and would not recommend it.
