The texture varied from finer and smoother to slightly more textured (not sharp or painful to use, but a few shades were chocked full of larger glitter) but comfortable enough to apply and to wear. If one was particularly sensitive to the feel of sparkle/glitter, it might not be the best formula to reach for. They wore from four to six hours and felt lightly hydrating over time.
