"Watch Thunder and the House of Magic" is an animated adventure film that tells the story of a young cat named Thunder. The film is filled with excitement and magical elements that captivate both children and adults. In the film, Thunder is abandoned by his loving family and finds himself wandering the streets. He stumbles upon a mysterious mansion, which turns out to be the home of a retired magician named Lawrence. The Ancient Magic in Hogwarts Legacy is one of the most unique parts of the story and gameplay. However, it drains our meter dramatically. To add extra capacity to this meter, you need to find Ancient Magic hotspots and collect their traces. There are 20 of them in total.

You can find Ancient Magic Hotspots all through Hogwarts Legacy, except inside Hogwarts Castle and Hogsmeade they are marked on your map as an Ancient Magic symbol. The only thing that could be the issue, is as mentioned before, that the main story quest must be at a certain progress in order to complete the hotspots.

As Thunder settles into his new home, he soon discovers that he must help save the house from potential destruction. With his newfound friends, Thunder embarks on a thrilling journey to protect the magical house from being sold and demolished by an evil nephew. Throughout the film, Thunder experiences various adventures and encounters fantastic characters that add depth and excitement to the story.

Is it just me or are they bugged? Like i did two of them, just to realize they arent being updated in the challenges like ?? And now im missing two total and cannot complete the challenge. Is that a known bug, or have i messed something up? Idk

If the main story hasn't brought them up yet you're unable to do them; Apparently they're bugged where you can see them on the overworld before the game lets you interact with them.

sadly thats not the solution! the main issue is the fact, that its not upgrading, not that i have uncollected loot

Its not the ancient meter magic that im talking about, its the collectable hotspots, not the drops during fights

that is correct. Problem is that the challenge book doesnt update the hotspots i completed, hence i cannout update my magic meter either, which is exactly my problem.

I do not have issues with the magic meter, or the collecting the drops in fight, my challenge book however is seemingly bugged as i cannot upgrade my meter since it doesnt register any completed hotspots

I did indeed. Even got the cut-scene, but the challenge didnt update

However i havent experienced any change even after almost completing the main quests.. I really dont know what the solution could be. I have however also made a ticket on the WB Page. Hopfully its fixed soon!

I have a similar issue. I finished the main story quests, the side quests and I did all the ancient magic hotspots, however, my challenge book says that I did only 18 out of 20.

In fact, I searched for all the ancient magic hotspots locations on the map and i don't see any remaining hotspot.

I think it is definitely a bug.
