Like many fans, this film has been a part of my life since it was released three decades ago, and I’m so excited to celebrate its 30 th anniversary today, on October 13.

The characters were also very one-dimensional and hard to connect with. I found myself struggling to finish this book and ultimately felt unsatisfied with the ending. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this book to others.
2. Sarah - 1 star - I cannot understand the hype around "The Talisman" by Peter Straub and Stephen King. The plot was incredibly slow-paced and felt like it dragged on forever. The narration style was also frustrating, jumping back and forth between characters without warning. I found it hard to get invested in the story or care about any of the characters.
