The movie has the stocking delivering things from beyond, presumedly from the dead husband, to cheer up Lindsey and ultimately get the daughter a dog. Since Syfy has become such a hit with its own special brand of movies, I noticed that another channel or two and I can t recall which channels churned out some very similar movies in the last year or two, probably trying to offer up some competition.
