The Power Play of the Amulet: Tales of Manipulation and Control

By admin

The jinx of the amulet Amulets have long been believed to have mystical and magical properties. From ancient civilizations to modern-day cultures, these objects are seen as symbols of protection and good luck. However, there are some individuals who claim that certain amulets can bring about misfortune and curses. This idea of the jinx of the amulet is a fascinating and cautionary tale. One of the most famous stories surrounding the jinx of an amulet is the Curse of the Hope Diamond. This precious blue diamond, originally mined in India, is said to have been stolen from an idol and carries an ancient curse.

Breaking an unbreakable code to save, at the very least, millions and millions of lives. To possibly stop Hitler from taking over the world. That was the unimaginably stressful task assigned to a select group of codebreakers during WW2. And, the codebreaking all-stars were initially primarily composed of a group of POLISH mathematicians - I know, right? JK. And then later, British, French, and Americans helped them. They were all racing against the clock to deconstruct the most powerful encoding machine of their day - the Enigma machine. The Enigma machine allowed its operator to type in a message and then scramble it into a code that many deemed totally unbreakable. But Allied codebreakers, lead by genius Alan Turning, did break it. Over and over again. And every time they did, the Nazis created a new, advanced model. Back and forth it went for years. The Nazis used Enigma Machines for ALL their most important military communications: ambushes, bombing raids, U-boat attacks in the North Atlantic on Allied supply lines, and more. And if the codebreakers hadn't kept beating the Enigma, the war would've claimed an estimated 14 to 21 million additional lives. And Hitler might have won. THIS is our epic tale for today. Hail Nimrod!

about

Entombed between the approaching war machine, Berlin's squat metal underground and the corrosive electronics broadcast from the Hague's bunker network, Chaosy's "Bad Magic" marks his first on the label, with tracks pulled together from equipment left behind in Ukraine and resurrected in makeshift studios while on the road.

Across the LP's eight tracks the record dials into this modern day horror and occult activity from throughout the ages, flipping between cave dwelling techno, breakbeat, gnarled Ukrainian rap and wails found between the gaps in the machine. A full blown sonic assault into the belly of the beast.

Chaosy DJ's and plays live at our Embryo party in Berlin this weekend.

Flip the cards, light the alter and see you in the sprawl!

Who put the rock-a-bye-baby up in the tree branch, and why? Seems irresponsible. When it was raining and pouring, why didn't the old man get out of bed after bumping his head? Did he die? What is Ring Around the Rosie really about? The bubonic plague? Why are we singing to small children about cutting the tails off of three blind mice? Who wrote all the strange, often dark, mostly weird old nursery rhymes kids have been memorizing for centuries? We look into all of this and more today. Such a fun topic! We examine why nursery rhymes often appear dark and why that may have helped keep them popular. We look into the lore that surrounds a lot of popular old rhymes to try to separate origin fact from origin fiction. Comedic theory, mnemonic devices such as acoustic encoding, and more - all explored as I get both scientific and silly today, finally getting to know many classic nursery rhymes many of us have memorized but few actually understand.

If you like to donate to the Bad Magic Giving Tree this year, please to amazon.com, purchase a gift card, and when you fill in the box for "To", enter the following email address: [email protected] If you'd like to be the recipient of a donation, please email us why you could use a helping hand to get presents for your children this holiday season. The jinx of the amulet

In many traditions, it is believed that amulets can absorb negative energy and protect the wearer from harm. However, if the amulet is not properly cleansed or cared for, it can turn into a magnet for bad luck. Sometimes, the jinx of the amulet is thought to be a result of a person's own psychological beliefs. If someone strongly believes that an amulet is cursed, they may start to notice more negative events and attribute them to the power of the amulet. This phenomenon, known as the placebo effect, highlights the strong connection between the mind and the perceived power of objects. While the jinx of the amulet may be seen as a myth or superstition by some, others take these beliefs very seriously. Many individuals go to great lengths to cleanse and purify their amulets to avoid any potential curses. Whether it is through ritualistic practices, prayers, or other methods, they believe that these actions can dissipate negative energy and restore the amulet's protective powers. In conclusion, the jinx of the amulet is a captivating concept that has intrigued people for centuries. Whether it is due to ancient curses, psychological beliefs, or simply bad luck, the idea that certain amulets can bring misfortune continues to capture our imagination. It serves as a reminder to handle our precious objects with respect and caution, for they may hold powers beyond our understanding..
