2. Michael - 1 star - "Take a Gander at the Witch" was a complete letdown for me. The story lacked originality and seemed like a cliché attempt at fantasy storytelling. The characters were one-dimensional, and I had a hard time connecting with any of them. The pacing was incredibly slow, and it took me a long time to finish the book because I kept losing interest. Ultimately, I was highly dissatisfied with this novel and would advise others to skip it.
