I think it is a very old metal Lawton but isn't marked as such and has a different internal design and a tip that would seem closed by current standards. Anyway, I find it very free blowing and quite adaptable in sound so I am going to persevere with it.

I think the closer micing helps with the recording a bit, but doesn't seem to improve my playing.
I decided not to play over the intro (you're welcome), so I put some gear shots in, instead of me standing around.
