The magic bunny book is a charming children's story about a mischievous little bunny who possesses extraordinary powers. The book follows the adventures of the magic bunny as he explores different worlds, meets new friends, and learns important life lessons along the way. The story is filled with beautiful illustrations and captivating storytelling, making it a delightful read for children of all ages. In the magic bunny book, the bunny discovers that he can perform magic spells with the twitch of his nose. This newfound ability leads him on exciting journeys where he helps people in need, grants wishes, and spreads joy wherever he goes. From granting a child's wish for a new toy to bringing laughter to a sad clown, the magic bunny uses his powers for good.

I've been trying to adapt to a new (old) mouthpiece on alto. I think it is a very old metal Lawton but isn't marked as such and has a different internal design and a tip that would seem closed by current standards. Anyway, I find it very free blowing and quite adaptable in sound so I am going to persevere with it.

From granting a child's wish for a new toy to bringing laughter to a sad clown, the magic bunny uses his powers for good. One of the main themes of the book is the importance of kindness and helping others. The magic bunny learns that his magic can bring happiness to those around him, and he uses his powers to make the world a better place.

SOTM February 2023 - Mr Magic

An all time favourite of mine: Mr Magic.
The originally written by Ralph McDonald and William Salter, it was made famous by Grover Washington Jr. in the 1970s and covered by many other artists.

Below is the link to the dots and backing track (thank you @nigeld !): let's hear your version!

I may even have a go at this myself, not my usual thing, but something about it appeals for some strange reason. Thanks Nigel for the backing tracks.

For this month's SOTM I found an example solo and backing track on YouTube that is fun and just on the limit of what I can manage.

I think the closer micing helps with the recording a bit, but doesn't seem to improve my playing.
I decided not to play over the intro (you're welcome), so I put some gear shots in, instead of me standing around.
So, here's my go, squeaks and honks and all.
