Surf Curse's concert setlist: A perfect blend of nostalgia and new material

By admin

The Surf Curse concert repertoire consists of a diverse range of songs that showcase the band's unique style and sound. The band, consisting of members Nick Rattigan and Jacob Rubeck, is known for their dreamy, lo-fi rock songs that often touch upon topics of love, youth, and angst. Some of their most popular songs include "Heathers", "Freaks", "All is Lost", and "Christine F". These songs are characterized by catchy melodies, distorted guitar riffs, and poetic lyrics. In addition to their popular tracks, Surf Curse also incorporates lesser-known songs into their concerts, giving fans a chance to discover new favorites. This adds an element of surprise and excitement to their performances, as fans never know which hidden gems they might get to hear.

Now, let’s take a look at the inside. The items in the pictures above are the real possessions of our Style Korean Editors. So we kindly beg your pardon of untidy look as they have been loved so much everyday by our editors. :p The White and 2.0 Black are sponge type like other usual cushions, and Fixing Foundation has mesh netting. We suppose almost everyone already knows that April Skin’s Cushions have amazing coverage. But there are definite differences among them. In detail : 1. Magic Snow Cushion White contains more than 60% of water-based serum which means White is the
most moist cushion. It enables to get natural make-up style and a glowy finish. White is the cushion for
cold and dry season like Winter, however, if you want perfect coverage, this might not be the one you
are looking for. 2. Magic Snow Fixing Foundation contains sebum control powder, that helps control oiliness and sebum.
So it is suitable for oily skin type and also is a perfect cushion for summer! But due to its silky finish,
those who have blemishes and acne will not be satisfied with it. 3. As I mentioned above, Magic Snow Cushion 2.0(Black) is released most recently. Containing 45% of
water-based serum, it gives dewy finish even though it has the highest coverage level at the same time.
2.0, the Black, is the most beloved one among Style Korean editors!

The Magic Snow Cushion, Magic Snow Cream and Magic Stone are the bestselling items among APRIL SKIN s range of 100 Korea-made cosmetics, skin care, body care and men s products. Aside from being cruelty-free, the brand s products are formulated without irritants and harmful ingredients, and packed with natural components to help skin, such as Jeju cherry blossom extract to smooth and moisturize, and charcoal to purify and condition.

First, the packaging became matter and simpler compared to its old version. The difference is subtle, but Anna preferred 2.0 with its glamorous and luxurious finish. The enclosed puff also has been strengthened, so it won’t tear or fall apart. She loves other lovely Korean cosmetics such as April Skin’s Fixing Cushion, but she prefers this design. It’s Totally her preference!

The Magic Snow Cushion 2.0 sponge is a special mochi type, which protects the content in a hygienic way from exposure to the air. Anna pressed it to show you the texture. It felt like pushing a piece of chiffon cake with whipped cream. Anna chose color #21, because of its brightness as you see. This cushion has perfected color, not too much pink base or yellow based, this balance caught her attention. She suggests color #22 for those who have a lighter Asian skin tone, and color #23 for those with a little darker skin tone. If you don’t prefer a glowing make-up effect, it’s recommended you mix a concealer of a dark color because its overall bright tone. To show you April Cushions’s famous coverage strength, Anna drew on the back of her hand with a lipstick and an eye liner, then patted just a tiny amount of the content… and…. PERFECT COVERAGE! It was so surprising that it offered such light and moist application with this high coverage.

Of course we gave it a try onto her face. Isn’t it so amazing? Anna has an oily skin type and some blemishes on her cheeks. The acne scars and dark areas around the lips are raised, but have been disappearing since she began using Medicube items. She applied a little amount of the content on the puff and with a few pats, they were completely gone! Other Style Korean’s editors using this cushion said its coverage is so powerful that it can cover flush, dark circles under the eyes and even freckles.

Reviews for "The alluring mystique of Surf Curse's concert repertoire"

1. Emily - 2/5 stars - I was really excited to attend the Surf Curse concert, but I was ultimately disappointed with their repertoire. The band seemed unenthusiastic and it felt like they were just going through the motions. The songs they performed lacked any real energy or passion, and it made for a lackluster experience. I had heard great things about Surf Curse and their live performances, but this one fell flat for me. I hope they bring a better setlist and more energy if I ever decide to give them another chance.
2. Jason - 2/5 stars - The Surf Curse concert repertoire was extremely underwhelming. It felt like they only played their most popular songs, without adding anything new or exciting to the mix. It was a predictable and safe setlist that left me bored and unimpressed. Additionally, the band lacked stage presence and didn't engage with the audience much. Overall, I expected more from Surf Curse and left the concert feeling disappointed and like I had wasted my money on tickets.
3. Sarah - 3/5 stars - I wasn't a fan of the Surf Curse concert's repertoire. While they played their well-known songs, the band failed to bring any fresh or unique elements to their performance. It felt like they were simply going through the motions, without taking any risks or trying to create a memorable experience for the audience. I would have liked to see some experimentation or unexpected twists in their setlist. Overall, it was an average performance that didn't leave a lasting impression.
