The Summit Magical Trail Run is a highly anticipated event that will take place in 2023. Whether you re an experienced trail runner, an ultrarunner, a trail newbie, a trail race director, or somewhere in between, the ninth annual US Trail Running Conference, brought to you by Active at Altitude, is for you. After the races, you can relax with free kid s races, family and other racers over local food, music, and microbrews in the heart of Red River at our after-party.
Along the trail, participants will encounter various surprises and magical elements that add to the overall experience. These could include hidden treasure chests, enchanted forests, and mystical creatures. In addition to the enchanting atmosphere, the Summit Magical Trail Run will also offer a competitive aspect.

As the shortest race in the Leadville Race Series, the Leadville 10K Run offers runners a unique opportunity to experience the magic of Leadville from a less intimidating distance. Cast against Leadville’s breathtaking mountain backdrop, the 10K crosses the same gravel roads as the infamous LT100 RUN course, covering the first and final 3.1 miles of the Race Across the Sky. Dip your toes in the magic and step into the warm embrace of the Cloud City community — you’ll never look back.

- In order to be eligible, members must have had digital or in-club memberships for at least 6 months prior to registration.
- Membership number and date of membership will be verified during registration.

This out-and-back course uses the first and last 3.1 miles of the LT100 Run course, featuring paved and dirt roads.

1. Sarah - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with the Summit magical trail run 2023. First of all, the organization was terrible. There was no clear signage or directions, and many runners got lost along the way. The volunteers were also unhelpful and seemed disinterested. Additionally, the course itself was not well-maintained, with uneven terrain and obstacles that made it difficult to run. Overall, I had a frustrating and unpleasant experience and would not recommend this event.
2. Mike - 1 star - The Summit magical trail run 2023 was a complete letdown. The registration process was a nightmare, with technical issues and poor communication from the organizers. On the day of the event, there was a lack of amenities and facilities for participants. There were no water stations along the course, and the few portable toilets were dirty and overflowing. To top it off, the post-race celebration was underwhelming, with minimal food options and no entertainment. I would advise against participating in this poorly executed event.
