The first Magic in the Mirror film was a great blend of weird B-Movie thrills and kids movie charm, so I was hopeful that the sequel could deliver more of the same. The only time I was truly taken aback and impressed was the decision to have the Drakes and the evil scientist travel via the time-honored method of transportation favored by everyone from legitimate businesses to serial killers the white panel van.
In addition to these classics, the album also includes original songs written specifically for the film by composer Marius de Vries and others. These songs include "Born to Be Wild" performed by Jenifer Lewis, "Love Is a Battlefield" performed by Meredith Anne Bull, and "Misty Blue" performed by Marius de Vries. The soundtrack received mixed reviews from critics.
Magic Mirror Patch 3 - Working Fix for saves that have mods.
Hey guys, found a method that has worked 100% for me.
If you have Improved UI installed amongst a plethora of mods - do this. Works for current save file that has already been using mods. You'll need to do this method for each save file if you have multiple characters - can do step 4 all at once on each character to save time.
For reference i have: Improved UI, Tav's Hairpack, Black Dye & Mod Fixer.
- Open Mod Manager and DELETE "Improved UI". Make sure to tick "Permanent" & "Remove from Load Order". DO NOT DO ANYTHING ELSE. don't save the load order etc.
Tick both those options
- LAUNCH THE GAME
- Load your save - you'll get a warning with a list of your mods notifying it will be disabled as below.
go into the mirror and "confirm" a change to exit. if you can't confirm just hit randomize and you should be able to confirm.
confirmed is greyed out for me
randomizing made it clickable
SAVE THE GAME & then close to desktop
Add "Improved UI" back into your Mod Manager and now you save the load order again.
go back into that save and you should be able to access the mirror and utilise all the mods you have installed.
click on this button to save the load order before opening it again.
let me know if this doesn't work or any other methods that work for you to help out others who may have different mods installed. I've only tested with the mods i have used. Hope this atleast helps some people :)
- Ensure the Improved UI mod is the LATEST one that is compatible with Patch 3.
- Improved UI is FIRST in the load order like im my screenshot.

Reviews for "The Sound of Secrets: A Closer Look at the Enigmatic World of Strange Magic Soundtracks"
1. John - 2 stars
I was really disappointed with the "Strange Magic" soundtrack. The songs just didn't resonate with me and I found them quite forgettable. The lyrics were cheesy and the overall production felt lackluster. I was hoping for a captivating and magical soundtrack to match the movie, but unfortunately, this just didn't deliver. I found myself skipping through songs after the first few seconds because they simply didn't catch my attention. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this soundtrack if you're looking for something truly enchanting.
2. Sarah - 1 star
I couldn't stand the "Strange Magic" soundtrack. It felt like a cheap knock-off of other fantasy musicals. The songs were generic and lacked any originality. I didn't feel any emotional connection to the music or the characters in the movie. It was just a forgettable experience overall. I was really disappointed because I had high hopes for this soundtrack, but it failed to deliver anything memorable or worthwhile. I wouldn't waste my time or money on this soundtrack again.
3. Mike - 2 stars
As a fan of musicals, I was excited to give the "Strange Magic" soundtrack a listen. However, I was left underwhelmed and unimpressed. The songs lacked depth and substance, and I found them to be quite repetitive. There were no standout tracks that I could genuinely enjoy or appreciate. The overall arrangement of the songs felt disjointed and didn't flow well together. I felt like the soundtrack missed an opportunity to enhance the storytelling and connect with the audience on a deeper level. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this soundtrack to anyone looking for a captivating musical experience.
4. Emily - 3 stars
While the "Strange Magic" soundtrack had a few enjoyable moments, overall, it fell short of my expectations. The songs were catchy at times, but they lacked the depth and complexity I was hoping for. The lyrics felt cliché and the melodies didn't leave a lasting impression. I found myself forgetting the songs shortly after listening to them. There were a few standout tracks that I did enjoy, but they were few and far between. Overall, the soundtrack felt average and didn't leave a lasting impact on me.
