Finding Joy in El Paso's Dyer District: The Power of Smile Magic

By admin

The smile magic of El Pado Dyer is a concept that emphasizes the power and impact of a smile. El Pado Dyer, a renowned author and motivational speaker, believed that a smile is a powerful tool that can positively influence others and transform one's own life. According to Dyer, a smile has the ability to convey warmth, kindness, and happiness. It can bridge gaps between individuals, break down barriers, and foster connection and understanding. A genuine smile can make others feel welcome, valued, and loved, promoting a sense of belonging and unity. Moreover, Dyer believed that a smile is contagious, able to uplift not only the person who receives it but also the person who gives it.

KC: Voodoo Mama is a small wooden doll with hinged arms and legs and human hair. The maker omitted her eyes, leaving dark open sockets instead. This type of doll is commonly left by mourning Haitians at their loved ones’ graves to act as a conduit, guiding the dead person’s spirit to the afterlife.

The K2 readings did consistently lead us to the fireplace where after some exploring, we discovered a loose brick which turned out to be a secret compartment for hiding something, maybe cash or something else of value. Have this bizarre artifact examined before placing it flat on your hand and instruct your spectator to imagine something bad happening to their victim of choice.

Moreover, Dyer believed that a smile is contagious, able to uplift not only the person who receives it but also the person who gives it. When we smile, we release endorphins, natural feel-good chemicals that can boost our mood and reduce stress. Additionally, smiling can improve our physical and mental well-being, as it relaxes facial muscles and promotes a positive mindset.

Haunting voodoo doll

i've played over 30 hours, both solo and in groups of various sizes. i'm level 55.

i have always survived hunts by hiding behind a door.

today, in the farmhouse, i picked up a voodoo doll, hid as usual, and watched a -shade- walk right through a fully closed door to kill me while my companion watched.

i've never seen a ghost walk through a door like that before. i know that WRAITHS can, but i've had a ghost hunting me from the other side of a door, pacing back and forth, unable to get me, so many times that i thought this was impossible for non-wraiths.

not only that, but aren't shades supposed to only kill when you're alone? my companion was within a few meters of me the whole time.

was it the voodoo doll guaranteeing my death regardless of ghost type? or have ghosts been able to go through doors all along, and i was just lucky previously that they didn't feel like wandering into the room i hid in?

All ghosts can walk through doors, they just don't see through it so have no reason to in most cases. However if a room is within their patrol path they will just walk into that room.

Ghosts actually don't see doors. A fun way to verify this is to die and wander around the house. You'll notice there's no doors between rooms. So, Ghosts can see and walk through doors just fine. Closet doors are exempt from this. I believe it's Wraiths that can actually travel through walls (though they don't keep LoS to their target on the other side).

i don't think what the dead player sees is necessarily the same as what the npc ghosts see Bu konunun sahibi, bu iletinin ilk konuyu cevapladığını belirtti. 23 Eki 2020 @ 23:37

Ghosts go through doors and all indications show they don't even see doors, just like dead players in the spirit realm don't. Ghosts don't usually seem to enter rooms unless they are following you, but some hunt paths do seem to take them into rooms. I say this because one time I died in the farmhouse hiding in the storage room that is behind the upstairs bedroom. Its ghost room was the downstairs kitchen and it wasn't following me, but it came up the stairs, through the bedroom, into the storage room where it killed me where I was hiding behind the shelving completely out of its sight. After I died I watched and followed it for its future hunts where it followed the same path, running around downstairs for a while before going upstairs, into the bedroom and then the back of the storage room. It was just my bad luck that I had hid directly in its scripted path.
