Elizabeth at the moment is friendless. Her best friend has moved to California and she is still trying to get accustomed to her new home situation, new stepmother and two step-sisters who thankfully are at a college now. Things start to shift when Elizabeth decides to do her paper in history over the Grimm fairy tales. Elizabeth's history teacher gives her a recommendation to work at a library. But she will find out this is not like any library she has ever been to, in this library you can check out magical objects which of course opens up a whole can of trouble.

That s where the librarians lock away powerful items straight out of the Brothers Grimm fairy tales; seven-league boots, a table that produces a feast at the blink of an eye, Snow White s stepmother s sinister mirror that talks in riddles. Her reading has got so out of control that she had to take a job at her local library to avoid bankrupting herself on books - unfortunately, this has just resulted in her TBR pile growing until it resembles Everest.

Young adult book where a teenager finds magic in a library

I'm trying to remember the title of a book I read a few years ago. From what I remember, it was probably from the Young Adult section of the library. The basic premise was a teenager being forced by their parents into taking a summer internship at a local library, only to discover it was filled with all kinds of magical books and objects (somewhat like the Library in The Librarian[s] series, or Warehouse 13). Unfortunately, I can't remember much more than this. Any help would be appreciated.

Reviews for "The Alchemical Power of Pantera's Metal Witchcraft CD"

1. John - 2/5
I was really disappointed with Pantera's metal witchcraft CD. I have been a fan of their music for years, but this album just didn't do it for me. The songs lack the raw energy and intensity that I love about Pantera. The overall sound is muddled and it feels like they were just going through the motions. I really hope their next album is better because this one fell flat for me.
2. Emily - 1/5
I can't believe I wasted my money on Pantera's metal witchcraft CD. It is just a mess of noise and incoherent lyrics. The songs lack any real structure or memorable hooks. It feels like they were trying too hard to be edgy and it just comes off as over-the-top and forced. I've been a fan of Pantera in the past, but this album has made me lose faith in their music.
3. Robert - 2/5
I had high hopes for Pantera's metal witchcraft CD, but it didn't live up to my expectations. The songs lack the aggression and power that I loved about their earlier albums. The guitar riffs are generic and there is nothing that stands out in terms of songwriting. It feels like they were trying to appeal to a wider audience instead of sticking to their roots. Overall, I was just left feeling disappointed and unsatisfied with this album.
4. Samantha - 1/5
Pantera's metal witchcraft CD was a huge letdown for me. The production quality is poor and the vocals are nearly unintelligible. The songs all blend together and it's hard to tell where one ends and the next one begins. I found myself skipping through most of the tracks because they just didn't grab my attention. Pantera used to be a powerhouse in the metal scene, but this album is a shadow of their former glory.
