Rainbow Six Siege Doktor's Curse Halloween event is live and Frost is horrifying

Like a lot of games this season, Rainbow Six Siege is officially dressed for Halloween. The Doktor's Curse event is live now and runs through November 6, giving you plenty of time to take part in the festivities. Throughout the event period, you'll be able to team up with friends as either Monsters or Exterminators for 5v5 hide-and-seek matches in a Halloween-themed version of the Theme Park map.

Visually, the re-skinned monsters are where it's at. Smoke, Kapkan, Frost, Lesion, and Ela each come dressed for the occasion, and some of them are truly unsettling. Frost in particular, with her gaping, crowded mouth of shark teeth, terrifies me (and also reminds me of Melina from Mortal Kombat).

Here's some silly lore behind the event: "Something’s not quite right with Doc. Soon after Theme Park closed, he moved in and made the castle his home, where he performs all sorts of disturbing experiments. In the end, he created something more evil than he intended. The place is now crawling with Monsters, and a band of Exterminators have been called in to reclaim it. Will they be able to return things to normal, or will the fiends live to terrorize another day?"

The objective for either team is exactly what you expect, but I'll break it down for you anyway. Exterminators are there to kill every monster, and monsters just want to survive and be left alone. Actually, monsters have a unique ability called Nightstride that speeds them up and makes them invisible for a short time, as well as their usual traps, to fight for their survival against the exterminators, who come equipped with special versions of Sledge's hammer and three unique gadgets to choose from.

The Doktor's Curse collection lets you buy event items including skins and charms for the monsters and exterminators. Simply log in during the event period and get the Doktor's Curse Collection pack, and pick up two additional collection packs by hitting a 20-score kill count and winning 13 rounds in the Doktor's Curse playlist.

The occult book store in Chicago serves as a hub for the occult community, fostering a sense of belonging and connection among like-minded individuals. Whether someone is curious about the occult or is already deeply involved in the craft, this store provides a valuable resource for exploring and furthering one's spiritual journey..

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege has confirmed that its annual Halloween hide-and-seek event, Doktor’s Curse, will be returning and kicking off on October 13.

Set in the Doktor’s Castle, the hide-and-seek game mode introduces new “creatures” – the name given to the operators for this game mode – as well as new horror-themed skins being available. During four rounds of two minutes each, the player takes on the role of either hunter or monster.

Doktor’s Curse, which sees the multiplayer game’s operators take on the roles of monster versus hunter in a 5v5 game of hide and seek, will run until November 2 and will feature some new operators for each team.

Oryx will join the hunters team this year whilst Azami, Nomad, Thorn and Gridlock will be joining the team of monsters. Hunters will be armed with hammers and a variety of tracking devices, tasked with finding the monsters inside the castle.

The monsters don’t have weapons, but instead can use traps and a powder – which grants temporary invisibility as well as a speed boost – called Nightstride to avoid and distract the hunters.

The Doktor’s Curse collection contains new bundles for each of the operators included in the event, with additional bundles available for Pulse, Kaid and Melusi. The Wicked Surgery bundle, the Incorporeal bundle and the Flayed Pain bundle are also available at a cost of 300 R6 credits or 12,500 renown.

Just for logging in at any point during the Doktor’s Curse event, players will receive one free Doktor’s Curse pack, and can earn three more over the course of the event by completing weekly challenges.

Tom Clancy’s ‘Rainbow Six Siege Year 4: Doktor’s Curse’ is back for Halloween season

Ubisoft announced that the frightful, limited-time event from Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege Year 4: Doktor’s Curse is back until 2 November. This event brings back the Monster Hunt game mode in the same spooky but reworked, Frankenstein version of the Theme Park map where Doc’s dreadful horrors are roaming. But this time, monsters will hunt monsters.

In this new version of the 5v5 Monster Hunt mode, some monsters (Lion and Jackal) have joined the side of the exterminators. The Sledges are back and again, they only wield Sledge hammers as weapons and one gadget from a selection of three, each attached to a unique operator skin – Eyenox Model III (Jackal), Heartbeat Sensor (Pulse) and EE-ONE-D (Lion). They will face five other Monsters: a cast composed of Lesion, Frost, Kapkan, Smoke, and Ela, with new additions of Aruni and Melusi. The defending Monsters have no weapons but can use traps and a unique ability created for this mode: become momentarily invisible and run faster to escape. The attacking Monsters’ goal is to kill all the opponents, while the defending Monsters must try to survive the round.

The Doktor’s Curse Collection, including bundles for Smoke, Kapkan, Frost, Lesion, Doc, Bandit and Ela, is back, with the addition of bundles for the new Monsters: Jackal, Lion, Aruni, Melusi, and Kaid. Bundles are available for 1680 R6 Credits each or via the collection packs for 300 R6 Credits each. Each player logging in until 2 November will get a Doktor’s Curse pack for free and can get three other packs by completing Ubisoft Challenges.
