These books serve as a valuable resource for historians, scholars, and individuals interested in learning about the rich heritage of the Pagah tribe. Her father-in-law is a tile expert, so I was convinced it could be done well. But Bre didn't tile over tile in a shower, so I wasn't sure if the same method she used would work for us. So I did a ton of research and I'm sharing everything I learned in this post.

They also provide insights into the rituals, customs, traditions, and social structure of the Pagah community. One of the notable aspects of Pagah history books is their emphasis on oral tradition. The Pagah tribe has a strong oral tradition, and their history books are often based on stories and accounts passed down from one generation to another.

Can you tile over tile?

  • Your existing tiles are firmly attached to the underlying surface. To test that your existing tile is firmly bonded, lightly tap them with a mallet. If any make a hollow sound, they are loose and should NOT be tiled over.
  • Your existing tiles are level. Use a level to see if there are any imbalances. If your level can rock even slightly, I would NOT tile over the existing tile.
  • Your tiles are not cracked, loose, or otherwise unstable in any way.
  • You do not have or suspect any current or former leaks.
  • You are confident you don't have any moisture issues behind your existing tiles. I highly recommend that you use a moisture meter to check.
  • You have confirmed that tiling over your existing tile is possible–keep in mind that an added layer of tiles will raise the height of the floor or wall, which may require adjustments to doors, trim, and other elements of the room.

And as with any DIY project, you need to make sure that you have the right materials, tools and techniques to do the job correctly. Otherwise, you should call a professional!

I found the "Pagah history books" to be extremely biased in their portrayal of events and individuals throughout history. The author seemed to have a clear agenda and was not providing a balanced perspective. This made me question the accuracy and reliability of the information being presented. Additionally, the books were written in a very dense and complex manner, making them inaccessible to readers who may not have a strong background in history. The "Pagah history books" were too focused on facts and dates, neglecting to delve deeper into the human stories and emotions behind historical events. I found myself longing for more personal anecdotes and insights to relate to the people of the past. The books also lacked a cohesive narrative thread, jumping from one event to another without providing adequate context or connections. While the books may serve as a reference guide for some, they failed to capture my interest and did not offer an engaging reading experience.
