Experience the Enchanting Moonlight Magic of 2023

By admin

Moonlight Magic 2023 Moonlight Magic is an annual event that takes place during the full moon in the month of July. It is a night full of enchantment and wonder, where magic comes to life under the moonlit sky. This year, Moonlight Magic 2023 promises to be the most extraordinary event yet. As the sun sets and darkness falls, the moon begins to rise, casting its gentle glow over the land. The atmosphere is filled with anticipation and excitement as people gather in a secluded meadow, far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The meadow is transformed into a magical realm, adorned with twinkling lights, mystical symbols, and lush greenery.

An explanation of how the book is structured, with a combination of observations on “psychology, theory and real-world application of mentalism as psychic entertainment”, with each observation followed by a group of routines which illustrate that observation.

I normally receive them within 5 working days but this time it took 11, there is also a delay with them paying royalties to their authors, so I think it is a problem that is across the board. On Nov 16, 2020, Stunninger wrote I placed my order for SECRETS on 6 November and as of yesterday 8 days later had not yet received a shipping notification.

That was odd. I just picked this up, but Lulu declined my credit card, and then my bank called me to say that their algorithms determined that using the card at Lulu was likely fraudulent activity and therefore they were locking my card until I confirmed I really wanted to make the purchase! Was able to make it with another card and then get my card unlocked as well. Very odd since Lulu is well established and I've purchased many things from there in the past (including Scott's previous books). Anyway. looking forward to the book, but just giving a heads up to people in case this happens to others!

I do know they have been having trouble with their new website. As an author I can tell you, the new site, is nowhere near as easy to use as the old one.

I don't know why they insisted on fixing something that wasn't broken, but hey that's progress for you.

Actually it’s not as strange as it may seem. I’m not sure if Lulu uses 3D Secure but if not the purchase will be seen as a non secure e-commerce transaction. It’s quite probable that due to the pandemic you have made multiple non secure e-commerce transactions compared to fewer point of sale transactions than normal. This will flag up on the fraud monitoring software.

You can blame me because if it is a U.K. bank I probably trained them how to set up the fraud monitoring system 🤣

I will advise the banks, if it’s by Scott Creasy I’d be more suspicious if someone didn’t buy it

A big thanks for your support guys.

The 15% discount from Lulu has finished, although over the past few months they have been offering discount codes just about every week so I'm sure there will be another one soon. I will however be keeping the 10% introductory discount offer on for a while longer.

In the mean time, last night I received a very nice email from Richard Webster. Those of you who have read any of my work will realise that Richard has been one of those who has had the most influence on my work over the past 30 years, so this means a great deal to me.

Just a note to let you know how much I enjoyed Secrets. It's beautifully written, and is full of wonderful articles and entertaining effects. I've always enjoyed performing pendulum effects, and look forward to performing "The Pendulum and the Envelope". I especially enjoy the fact that you're two ahead for most of the routine. I enjoyed "What's in a Name, and the variations you included. Years ago, you converted me to Bob Hummer's clever idea, and it was great to read your new ideas on it. "For the Love of Pi" is another effect I can't wait to perform. It's strange, as I'd never been excited about Pi until reading your book. Together, "The Bookless Book Test" and "Boxed Clown" make a wonderful routine with plenty of audience participation to create a highly memorable effect. As with your earlier books, I could go on and on about the different effects you've created, but have to let you know yet again how much fun I'm having with "Remote Tarot." For me, it's the perfect effect, as it can be done impromptu anywhere, and the participant gets a reading at the end.

I especially loved your observations on mentalism. They show just how much thought you've put into every aspect of your work. "Psychic Reality", in which you answer the question, "When did you discover you had this gift?", is a perfect example. I could list all of your articles, but "Psychic Reality", "Getting the Gigs", "The Pursuit of Believability", "Selling the Real Deal", "Pendulum Power", "Scripting", and "Real World Applications" should be read by everyone seriously interested in the art of mentalism.

Thanks again for letting me read your book. The right person could make a career using nothing but effects from Secrets. I hope you do really well with it. I know you're focusing on writing for the general public now, but hope you'll find time to write more for the trade.

I placed my order for SECRETS on 6 November and as of yesterday (8 days later) had not yet received a shipping notification. I contacted Lulu to see if they could provide a status and received an email saying, due to COVID-19, please allow an additional 5 to 10 days for printing and shipping.

Really looking forward to this one 😀

I ordered on the 5th Nov, had a shipping notice on the 11th Nov, and the book has arrived this morning.
A preliminary browse through determines you will not be disappointed.

Sorry many of you have had delays from LULU, I had the same problem when I ordered my proof copy. I normally receive them within 5 working days but this time it took 11, there is also a delay with them paying royalties to their authors, so I think it is a problem that is across the board.

One day we'll all be back to normal, fingers crossed.

Scott -- no need to apologize. I'm not upset and certainly understand there's a lot more important stuff going on in the world than me getting your latest work. It'll get here in good time and I'll look forward to it until then.

Scott as no2ss says, no worries. entirely out of all our control. Yesterday I did receive notification from Lulu that my book shipped. Can’t wait to read it!

Posted: Nov 20, 2020 03:10 pm Secrets has arrived! Posted: Nov 20, 2020 05:09 pm Mine too has just dropped through the letter box. Posted: Nov 22, 2020 03:19 pm

I’ll review SECRETS as I read it, one (or a few) chapters at a time.

Having been a student of Scott’s for years now, I own almost everything he has released. He is one of only two mindreaders whose new releases I buy immediately without hesitation because the thinking is always so good.

Review of SECRETS by Scott Creasey

Preface (pages 4 - 5)

Scott shares a recurring dream that haunts him, and a performance that deeply inspired him, and how these have influenced what he is driven to accomplish with his work.

Introduction (pages 6 - 8)

An explanation of how the book is structured, with a combination of observations on “psychology, theory and real-world application of mentalism as psychic entertainment”, with each observation followed by a group of routines which illustrate that observation.

The introduction ends with an excellent insight on ethics.

Contents (pages 9 - 10)

True Story (page 11)

You just have to read it.

The Pursuit of Believability (pages 12 - 17)

“. the ability to create routines that produce an involuntary suspension of disbelief” is the theme. But how? Scott offers his insights and observations from C.L. Boarde, Uri Geller, pre-set notions in the minds of the public and more.

Posted: Nov 24, 2020 02:31 am

My review continues.

Method For Methods Sake (pages 18 - 21)

Is there a destructive addiction chipping away at the believability factor of the recreation of psychic phenomena as a performance art? Scott states there is, and begins to make his case. He also suggests there is an antidote that holds the promise of increasing believability.

Reviews for "The Ultimate Guide to Moonlight Magic in 2023"

1. Sarah - 2 out of 5 stars - I was really disappointed with "Moonlight Magic 2023". The storyline was convoluted and confusing, making it difficult for me to follow along. The characters felt one-dimensional and their actions didn't always make sense. Additionally, the pacing was off, with some scenes feeling rushed and others dragging on for too long. Overall, I just couldn't connect with the story or the characters, and it left me feeling unsatisfied.
2. Mike - 1 out of 5 stars - "Moonlight Magic 2023" was a complete letdown for me. The writing was mediocre at best, with cliché and predictable dialogue. The plot lacked originality, falling into the same tired tropes seen in countless other fantasy novels. Furthermore, the world-building was superficial, leaving me with more questions than answers. I had high hopes for this book, but it failed to deliver anything unique or captivating.
3. Emma - 2 out of 5 stars - I found "Moonlight Magic 2023" to be incredibly underwhelming. The characters were unlikeable and lacked depth, making it difficult for me to care about their fates. The fantasy elements felt forced and out of place in the overall narrative. The romance subplot was unconvincing and lacked chemistry between the characters. Overall, I found the book to be a tedious read with little to offer in terms of originality or engaging storytelling.
4. John - 3 out of 5 stars - "Moonlight Magic 2023" had some promising elements, but it ultimately fell short for me. The pacing was inconsistent, with moments of high tension followed by long lulls in the narrative. The plot was predictable, and the twists were easily foreshadowed. Additionally, the writing style didn't captivate or immerse me in the story. While I didn't hate the book, I also didn't feel particularly invested or entertained by it.
