Midnight Occult Civil Servants Team: The Ultimate Paranormal Response Unit

By admin

The Midnight Occult Civil Servants team is a group of individuals who work for the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office of Nocturnal Community Relations. Their main task is to investigate and resolve supernatural incidents that occur during the night in the city. These incidents often involve yokai, spirits, and other mystical creatures from Japanese folklore. The team is made up of individuals who possess the ability to communicate with these supernatural beings, known as "Anothers," and use their unique skills to maintain harmony between the human and supernatural worlds. The main protagonist of the series is Arata Miyako, a young man who discovers his ability to understand Anothers and joins the team. The team is led by the enigmatic and powerful Reiji Senda, who is known for his strict adherence to rules and protocols.

Other than that there's little to be impressed by. Art is average and sometimes characters look off proportions. Arata just happens to be voiced by Jun Fukuyama best known for his role as Lelouch from Code Geass. It's got a good OST composed by Evan Call who also did the soundtrack for KyoAni's Violet Evergarden. The first episode was pretty entertaining even though the scenario's been seen over and over before. On the other hand, the theme songs and art isn't so great. The colours are really flat and animation rough.

Reviews for "Midnight Occult Civil Servants Team: Solving Mysteries that Baffle Regular Detectives"

1. John Doe - 2/5 - I found "Midnight occult civil servants team" to be extremely dull and lackluster. The plot was uninteresting and didn't capture my attention at all. The characters were one-dimensional and lacked depth, making it difficult for me to care about their struggles. Additionally, the pacing was incredibly slow, dragging the story along without any exciting moments or twists. Overall, I was highly disappointed with this series and would not recommend it to others.
2. Jane Smith - 1/5 - "Midnight occult civil servants team" was a complete waste of time for me. The premise seemed intriguing, but the execution fell flat. The animation quality was poor, with lackluster visuals and uninspiring artwork. The story was weak and lacked coherence, jumping from one idea to another without any clear direction. The characters were forgettable and their interactions felt forced. I struggled to maintain interest throughout the series and was left feeling unsatisfied by the end. I would advise others to steer clear of this show.
3. Emily Johnson - 3/5 - While "Midnight occult civil servants team" had its moments, overall it failed to leave a lasting impression on me. The concept of supernatural beings working in a government organization was interesting, but the execution felt lackluster. The character development was weak, with the protagonists feeling flat and unrelatable. The pacing was also inconsistent, with some episodes dragging on while others felt rushed. Although there were a few intriguing storylines, they were not enough to compensate for the overall subpar quality of the series. I wouldn't necessarily discourage others from giving it a try, but I can't say I enjoyed it myself.
4. David Thompson - 2/5 - "Midnight occult civil servants team" started off promising, but quickly lost its appeal for me. The animation was decent, but the plot lacked depth and complexity. The conflicts and mysteries presented were resolved too easily and lacked impact. The characters were forgettable and lacked compelling backstories. Additionally, the show relied too heavily on exposition, making it feel more like a lecture than an engaging story. Overall, I found "Midnight occult civil servants team" to be a mediocre and forgettable series in the supernatural genre.
