Book Synopsis

A Darker Shade of Magic, from #1 New York Times bestselling author V.E. Schwab

Kell is one of the last Antari--magicians with a rare, coveted ability to travel between parallel Londons; Red, Grey, White, and, once upon a time, Black.

Kell was raised in Arnes--Red London--and officially serves the Maresh Empire as an ambassador, traveling between the frequent bloody regime changes in White London and the court of George III in the dullest of Londons, the one without any magic left to see.

Unofficially, Kell is a smuggler, servicing people willing to pay for even the smallest glimpses of a world they'll never see. It's a defiant hobby with dangerous consequences, which Kell is now seeing firsthand.

After an exchange goes awry, Kell escapes to Grey London and runs into Delilah Bard, a cut-purse with lofty aspirations. She first robs him, then saves him from a deadly enemy, and finally forces Kell to spirit her to another world for a proper adventure.

Now perilous magic is afoot, and treachery lurks at every turn. To save all of the worlds, they'll first need to stay alive.

Reviews for "How to Maintain Healthy Edges with Magix Fingers Edge Control"

1. Steven - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with Magix fingers edge control. The product claims to have a strong hold, but it didn't do anything for my edges. Whenever I applied it, my edges would still frizz up within minutes. I had to constantly reapply throughout the day, which was really inconvenient. I found that it also made my hair feel greasy and weighed it down. Definitely won't be repurchasing.
2. Karen - 1 star - I have fine hair, and I thought Magix fingers edge control would be perfect for taming my baby hairs. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations at all. The product was very sticky and made my hair feel crunchy. It also left a white residue on my edges, which was really unappealing. I tried using different amounts, but nothing seemed to work. This was a complete waste of my money.
3. Michelle - 2 stars - I have curly hair, and I thought Magix fingers edge control would help me create sleek and defined edges. However, it did nothing for me. The product was difficult to apply and didn't hold my edges in place for more than an hour. It also felt heavy on my curls and made them lose their natural bounce. Overall, I was very dissatisfied and wouldn't recommend this product to fellow curly-haired individuals.
