I recently had the opportunity to visit the Magical Forest and Halloveen at Opportunity Village, and I must say it was a truly enchanting experience. The Magical Forest is an annual holiday event held by Opportunity Village, a local nonprofit organization in Las Vegas. This event aims to create a whimsical and magical atmosphere for families and friends to enjoy during the holiday season. As soon as I entered the Magical Forest, I was immediately transported to a world of wonder and awe. The entire forest was adorned with thousands of glittering lights, creating a dazzling display that brought a warm glow to the night. The attention to detail was remarkable, with beautiful light sculptures and decorations scattered throughout the forest.

The attention to detail was remarkable, with beautiful light sculptures and decorations scattered throughout the forest. It was truly a sight to behold. One of the highlights of the Magical Forest was the Forest Express train ride.

4 years - the time has flown by! If someone had told me back when I was in college, or when I passed the CPA exam, or any time throughout my 25+ career in accounting that I would start my own company, an executive search firm, I would’ve told them they were crazy! It’s a long story how it all went down, but it started when I left my corporate VP role at a casino company to take care of my Mom who was hospitalized for most of 2007. I’ve never regretted that decision one bit and the past 4 years turned out to be a gift that I could not have imagined from that earlier sacrifice.

Best Haunted Houses in Las Vegas

It’s that creepy time of year when it’s perfectly acceptable to walk around with a zombie when you’re out having fun, and what’s more fun than getting a scare at one of the amazing haunted houses in Las Vegas? We’re ready for all the spooky thrills that are waiting for us in 2019.

We’ve compiled a list of must-visit places in and around Las Vegas. We’ve even included some videos in the information below so you can get a look at the scares to come! Fill your nights with delightful screams and scares at some of these haunted houses…. if you dare!

This delightful train took visitors on a journey through the forest, allowing us to take in the stunning displays from a unique perspective. The train ride was accompanied by cheerful holiday music, adding to the festive ambiance. In addition to the beautiful lights and decorations, the Magical Forest also featured a variety of fun activities for both children and adults. There was a carousel, a mini-golf course, and even a mini roller coaster for the thrill-seekers. The children particularly enjoyed the interactive rides and games, while the adults could indulge in delicious food and drinks at the various food stalls and bars. Furthermore, during the Halloween season, the Magical Forest transforms into Halloveen, a spooky and thrilling experience. This event features haunted houses, scare zones, and live entertainment that are sure to send chills down your spine. The attention to detail in the haunted houses was remarkable, with intricate set designs and terrifying creatures lurking around every corner. It was an adrenaline-pumping experience that left me on the edge of my seat. Beyond the enchanting atmosphere and thrilling attractions, what truly stood out during my visit to the Magical Forest and Halloveen at Opportunity Village was the sense of community and inclusiveness. Opportunity Village provides employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities, and many of the employees at the event were individuals supported by the organization. It was heartwarming to see their dedication and enthusiasm in making this event a memorable experience for all. In conclusion, my visit to the Magical Forest and Halloveen at Opportunity Village was a truly magical experience. The dazzling lights, exciting attractions, and sense of community made it an event that I would highly recommend to anyone looking to embrace the holiday spirit or seeking a thrilling Halloween experience. It is a testament to the hard work and dedication of Opportunity Village and its mission to provide opportunities for individuals with disabilities..

The decorations were lackluster and there wasn't much effort put into creating a magical atmosphere. The rides were subpar and there was nothing that really stood out as special or unique. Overall, it felt like a money grab and I wouldn't recommend going.

2. JohnDoe789 - 1 out of 5 stars - I was really looking forward to the Magical Forest and Halloveen event at Opportunity Village, but it was a huge letdown. The rides were old and rusty, and some of them were even out of service. The Halloween decorations were uninspired and there was nothing scary or exciting about them. It felt like a cheap carnival with inflated ticket prices. Save your money and find a better Halloween attraction.

3. DisappointedMom - 2 out of 5 stars - I took my kids to the Magical Forest and Halloveen at Opportunity Village and I was very disappointed. The lines for the rides were incredibly long and there wasn't much to do while waiting. The food options were limited and overpriced. The staff seemed overwhelmed and uninterested in providing a good experience. We ended up leaving early and I wouldn't go back again.
