1. Jane - 2 stars - I was really disappointed with "Magic Tree House 16". The storyline was predictable and lacked excitement. I found myself bored throughout most of the book, as the plot felt repetitive and unoriginal. The characters also didn't develop much and it felt like they were just going through the same motions as in the previous books. Overall, I would not recommend this installment in the series.
2. John - 1 star - "Magic Tree House 16" was a huge letdown for me. The writing was simplistic and felt more suited for younger readers, even though I know this is a children's series.
