I got the AAAD app, and AAMirror for it. works perfectly for me no box required. My buddy got it and says it won't play netflix or hulu since they won't allow screen projection. i've only tried it with youtube and another streaming app i use that won't be named but both worked flawlessly and even the audio matched near perfectly.

To my knowledge no it won't work on iphone, but I'm definitely not an expert on that so don't take that as gospel.
