Synopsis Theodore “Tubby” Ellsworth and Jack smith are two criminals on the run, lost in the untamed wilderness. When they stumble across a mutilated Prospector, dying on Indian ground, they promise to give him a Christian burial. The fugitives break their oath and steal the old man’s gold…but that night, the Prospector’s corpse returns to make them pay!

The only thing I expected from the Yukon gold rush that isn t in this film is snow and I m quite prepared to be shot down for being stereotypical there.
The Mafic Island of Hawaii is predominantly composed of basaltic lava flows that have erupted from its numerous shield volcanoes. Shield volcanoes are broad, gently sloping structures that form from the accumulation of lava flows. This type of volcano is common in Hawaii due to the hotspot that has been active for millions of years.

The 49er. I’m not talking about the San Fran type that was just a couple of bobbled balls away from the Super Bowl this year… I’m talking about the real thing. The water panning, gold tooth wearing, scraggly haired, crazy eyed character from early American history. That’s what we’re looking at in the upcoming short The Prospector’s Curse.
Yukon Cornelius be damned. You know these early prospectors had to be a little unbalanced. You can’t just sit with a pan in the water all day hoping gold will wash up into it without being a little touched. It’s this fun thought that drives The Prospector’s Curse, which incidentally carries the tagline “There’s blood in them there hills!”. It’s early in 2012, but that is officially one of our favorite tags so far this year.

Mafic Island Hawaii was a major disappointment for me. The entire experience felt very rushed, and the attractions were overcrowded. Overall, I would not recommend visiting this island if you're looking for a relaxing and enjoyable vacation.
