A Witch's World: Thoughts from a Diary

By admin

Diary of a Witch October 31st, 2022 I finally obtained the coveted Book of Shadows, a grimoire passed down through generations of witches in my family. Today, I begin my journey into the realm of magic, casting spells and unleashing my powers upon the world. It's a thrilling yet daunting experience, but I feel a strong sense of purpose and destiny guiding me. November 4th, 2022 I have been practicing basic spells from the Book of Shadows, focusing on harnessing the elements – earth, air, fire, and water. It's incredible how with just a flick of my wrist, I can summon gusts of wind or ignite candles. However, control is crucial, as I often find myself getting carried away with the extent of my powers.

Well one day my uncle (who's more open minded) and I went to the bookstore and I went off to look at stuff (mostly read anything I could in the new age section before we left) and my uncle did his shopping. He came to find me saw what I was looking at and bought me this super thick book Book of Shadows: the Solitary Witch by Silver Raven Wolf. We got back to his house, my mom came to pick me up, he showed her and I wasn't allowed to bring it home. So I never read it, but I always remembered my uncle is open minded and will support me no matter what (and he has and to this day I have a closer relationship with him than I've ever had with my parents).

However, control is crucial, as I often find myself getting carried away with the extent of my powers. November 10th, 2022 A fellow witch at the local coven has introduced me to the world of divination. I've started honing my skills in tarot reading and scrying, delving into the depths of the unknown.

Silver Raven Wolf opinions?

TLDR: I got one of her books from my uncle & I've heard bad things so wanting opinions and wondering if there's any good in it?

I'm not exactly new but I'm always learning. Years ago when I was first starting at 14-15ish.. I hadn't told my parents they'd be strongly against it (and there were other issues going on). Most of what I learned was online because I couldn't get any books.

Now I'm currently at his house waiting on someone to come do some work on his house, so I'm just looking through stuff and I find the book. I sent him a picture and said I'm taking this home with me. (I have my own home now.. right next door to him.. cause he gave it to me for free..) I got my own little family and stuff now. I remembered I heard the authors name before and people saying negative things about her like she's bigoted, doesn't fact check etc.

So my question is does she have any good info or is the book just garbage or just what's your thoughts in general?

The tarot cards reveal fascinating glimpses into the past, present, and future, while the mirror shows me visions and symbols that guide my path. It's a mesmerizing and humbling experience to tap into such mystical energies. November 18th, 2022 Today, I attended a coven gathering during the Samhain season. Surrounded by other witches, the energy was intoxicating. We performed a powerful ritual to honor the spirits and the cycle of life and death. The room was filled with incense, candles, and the collective energy of our intentions. It was a reminder of the deep connection we have with nature and the forces that govern our existence. December 2nd, 2022 I've been experimenting with potion-making lately, carefully mixing various herbs, oils, and crystals to create concoctions with specific intents. From healing potions to protection brews, each ingredient has its own significance and power. It's fascinating to witness the transformation of simple elements into potent elixirs that can alter one's state of being. December 15th, 2022 I had my first encounter with a dark entity today while exploring the depths of the astral plane. It was a chilling experience, but I managed to protect myself with a powerful banishing spell. It serves as a stark reminder of the responsibility and caution that comes with practicing witchcraft. The balance between light and dark is a delicate dance, and I must always remain vigilant and grounded. December 31st, 2022 As the year comes to an end, I reflect on my journey as a witch. The highs and lows, the successes and failures – all have shaped me into a stronger and wiser practitioner. Each day brings new insights and discoveries, and the thirst for knowledge and growth within my craft is insatiable. I am grateful for the ancient wisdom passed down to me and for the connections I have formed within the magical community. In conclusion, being a witch is an exhilarating and mystical path that demands dedication, self-discipline, and reverence for the forces that govern the universe. It is a journey that intertwines the everyday with the extraordinary, and as I continue writing my diary, I look forward to unlocking deeper realms of magic and discovering the true extent of my powers..
