Ilvermorny is a renowned school of witchcraft and wizardry located in North America. It is considered to be the Hogwarts equivalent in the United States. The school was founded by Isolt Sayre and her No-Maj (Muggle) husband James Steward. They established Ilvermorny in the early 17th century on Mount Greylock in Massachusetts. The school follows a similar house system as Hogwarts, with four houses representing different traits and values. These houses are Horned Serpent, Thunderbird, Wampus, and Pukwudgie.
