The mask. This base mask was at a lovely little costume shop here in Denver called Disguises. It has some nicks on the nose, but I fixed it with a little paint. I used a sewing pencil to mark the mask as a guide for the paint. I painted the design in with paint pens, which I think came out beautifully.

Now, Chandra has been working on this comic series for as long as I’ve known her, and that’s been 14 years! She started working on this comic back in 1999 (. ), and although she was able to get Volume 1 published in 2009, she now owns the rights again and wants the chance to improve the first volume and continue the series!
Currently, the campaign is just a little over halfway fulfilled, and there’s only 10 days to go. I know it would mean the absolute world to her to get this story she’s been trying to tell for over TWENTY YEARS completed and in people’s hands.

1. Emily - 2/5 - I was really excited to try out the Cool Maker Magic Mixer, but I was ultimately disappointed. The mixer was difficult to assemble and the instructions were not clear at all. Once I finally got it set up, it didn't work properly. The batter came out lumpy and uneven, and it took forever to mix. I ended up having to do most of the mixing by hand, which defeated the purpose of having an electric mixer. I definitely would not recommend this product.
2. Michael - 1/5 - This Cool Maker Magic Mixer was a complete waste of money. First of all, it was much smaller than I expected, and the plastic felt flimsy and cheap. But the real disappointment was in its performance - it barely mixed anything at all! The motor was weak and the attachments didn't fit properly, so the ingredients just spun around in the bowl without getting properly mixed. Save your money and invest in a better quality mixer.
3. Samantha - 2/5 - I thought the Cool Maker Magic Mixer would be a fun and easy way to bake with my kids, but it turned out to be more frustrating than anything. The mixer was difficult to operate, and my kids struggled to get it to work properly. It was also quite messy - the batter would splatter everywhere, even with the lid on. The mixing results were mediocre at best, with clumps of unmixed ingredients still present in the batter. Overall, this product did not meet my expectations and I would not recommend it for families.
