Sometimes we’re lonely, Sometimes we feel we need a place to be grounded

I had planned to write about a few music videos and the interesting choreographic work that had come out of Pop Music but after trawling the web for what felt like an age, it dawned on me that I was massively uninspired by the many YouTube clips I was watching and as pleasant and entertaining as they are music videos do not, in fact, interest me to the extent where I would want to spend time writing about them. I think that old Nazi, Laban, was threatened by the success of her work and her school, they seemed to approach dance and philosophies regarding movement quite differently.

The line-up changes each week, ensuring a fresh and entertaining experience for everyone. - Thursday Nights: Magic Extravaganza - Get ready to be amazed by the incredible skills of our resident magicians! Every Thursday, the club presents a magical performance that includes mind-boggling illusions, card tricks, and sleight of hand. This is a family-friendly event, making it the perfect opportunity for an evening of wonder and awe.

Magickal Arts: The Spiral Dance

I’m gracing you with two videos in a row for this series! Aren’t you lucky? This time the video stars me. J I performed my very first belly dance solo at my University’s 2 nd annual belly dance festival. Belly dancing has been such a new and liberating outlet for me to express myself, even spiritually. Upon joining the belly dance club at school, I started to see how much of an overlap there is between belly dancers and pagans. I wanted my first solo to combine my two passions that I’ve thrown myself into head first, since becoming a student here at UMass. So, what better song to choreograph to than “Spiral” by Godsmack? The song is very symbolic for me. First of all, Godsmack frontman, Sully Erna, is a practicing witch and wrote the song under the influence of paganism. They’re also from Massachusetts. My friends in SPIRALS made it our unofficial theme song! Hope you like my performance…I admit my arms are a little awkward but I’m getting better. I will say my hips are already going pro! 😉

Sometimes we only live for the here and now

Sometimes we’re lonely, Sometimes we feel we need a place to be grounded

Or fly away again

I will fly away again, oh

I will fly away again

Why are we feeling something’s familiar around us?

Are we just dreaming? Always we search for the answers but nothing is found

We’ll fly away again

I feel rain pouring down

The spiral never ends!

Action shots!

Reviews for "Looking for a good laugh? Check out the comedy and magic club schedule"

1. John - 2 stars
The Comedy and Magic Club schedule was a major disappointment for me. I expected an evening filled with laughter and mind-bending illusions, but instead I was left feeling underwhelmed. The comedians lacked originality and their jokes fell flat, while the magicians didn't seem to have mastered their craft. The overall atmosphere was lackluster and I found myself bored halfway through the show. I would not recommend this club to anyone seeking quality comedy and magic performances.
2. Sarah - 1 star
Attending the Comedy and Magic Club was a regrettable experience. The schedule promised a mix of hilarious comedy acts and mind-bending magic performances, but it failed to deliver on both fronts. The comedians were amateurish and their jokes were more cringe-worthy than funny. The magicians were predictable and lacked any sense of wonder or mystique. I left the club feeling thoroughly disappointed and wishing I hadn't wasted my time and money. Save yourself the disappointment and find another comedy and magic club that actually lives up to its promises.

I had high expectations for the Comedy and Magic Club schedule, but unfortunately, it fell short of delivering an entertaining evening. The comedians seemed to rely heavily on stale jokes and recycled material, making the whole experience feel uninspired. The magic acts were also lackluster, with predictable tricks that failed to captivate the audience. The overall show lacked energy and creativity, leaving me unimpressed. I would recommend seeking out a different comedy and magic club if you're looking for a truly memorable night of entertainment.
4. Emily - 3 stars
While the Comedy and Magic Club schedule had moments of humor and intrigue, overall, it didn't live up to my expectations. The comedians had their funny moments, but the jokes often relied on tired stereotypes and clichés. The magic acts were moderately entertaining, but failed to leave a lasting impression. The club itself had a pleasant ambiance, but the lack of standout performances left me feeling somewhat disappointed. If you're looking for a casual night out and don't have high expectations, the Comedy and Magic Club might be worth a visit. However, if you're seeking top-notch comedy and mind-blowing magic, you may want to explore other options in the area.
