Thomas And The Magic Railroad Extended Cut

Edit: The Shout Factory Blu-Ray that just came out has a ton of new scenes not included in the movie, or the workprint. I will be making a version 2 in a few weeks with every scene available to create an ultimate version of the film.

Here it is, the great "Thomas And The Magic Railroad Extended Cut" also known as the Rough Cut or Director's Cut this is based off of a workprint that leaked a while back.

What makes this different from the workprint that leaked?

This is an edited version, similar to projects like The Thief And The Cobbler Recobbled Cut. I have inserted shots from the Amazon Prime release of the film where ever the same shots are used, along with that I have cleaned up the workprint using Avisynth. After cleanup I finished some of the special effects that were left unfinished in the workprint. Then I created a custom audio mix using the workprint audio and the 5.1 mix from the Official DVD.

What has changed?

-Lily is the Narrator instead of Mr. Conductor

-Most scenes are in a different order than they appeared in the Theatrical cut.
-All scenes with PT Boomer have been added back, along with the original storyline which heavily involved him.
-The movie has a greater emphesis on the live action segments, with some of the scenes on Sodor from the theatrical cut missing on the extended cut.
-All voice actors have changed (Note: this uses scratch/placeholder audio for most of the trains, so the voices can switch between shots. There is no way to fix this without access to a later workprint)

Why are you releasing this now? Wasn't this leaked?

I was going to keep this private however people started leaking the original workprint this edit is based on. Along with that people have gone on a crusade to take the workprint down, which has only caused a Streisand effect of it becoming more known and popular, Britt and Mattel already know about the leak so there is no reason to try to hide it now. Also people have been accusing some guy named Joseph about leaking the workprint. I just want to say he is NOT the one who leaked the footage. The workprint was given to a documentary crew by Mattel (Who were not supposed to because they don't own the rights, Sony does) One of the people working on the documentary sent it to a bunch of his friends (I've heard a varying amount of people he gave it to, but I've heard around 10) and it spread from there. I've heard that it originally started spreading around December, I personally got my copy in January.

What does this release include?
-1080p Restored version of the Thomas And The Magic Railroad Extended cut.
-High Quality reconstructed Stereo audio track based on the Theatrical 5.1 audio mix

-Original Workprint/Scratch audio

Update: this is a reupload as the original was taken down. Also high quality versions of the deleted scenes will be included on the upcoming official Blu-Ray, please support the official release

Reviews for "The Magic Toolbox: Brian Cain's Essential Techniques"

1. Lisa - 1 out of 5 stars - I was really disappointed with Brian Cain as a magic practitioner. I hired him for a special event and his tricks were so basic and predictable. It felt like I could have done them myself with a simple YouTube tutorial. I expected him to amaze and entertain my guests, but instead, they were left unimpressed and bored. I would not recommend him to anyone looking for a professional and skilled magician.
2. Robert - 2 out of 5 stars - I attended a show where Brian Cain was performing as a magic practitioner, and to be honest, I wasn't impressed. His tricks lacked originality and creativity. I could tell that he was following a script and there was no spontaneity in his performance. The whole experience felt scripted and rehearsed, making it difficult to fully enjoy the magic. I think there are much better magicians out there who can provide a more captivating and engaging performance.
3. Sarah - 2 out of 5 stars - As a magic enthusiast, I had high expectations for Brian Cain's magic practitioner skills. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed. His tricks were quite basic and lacked any real wow-factor. There was no sense of mystery or wonder in his performance. I've seen many other magicians who can truly captivate the audience and leave them in awe, but Brian Cain fell short in that aspect. I wouldn't recommend him to anyone looking for a memorable and mind-blowing magic experience.
4. Michael - 1 out of 5 stars - Brian Cain's magic practitioner performance was underwhelming, to say the least. The tricks he performed were so outdated and cliché, it felt like I was watching a magician from the 80s. I expected more creativity and innovation in his act, but it felt like he was simply going through the motions without any real passion. I definitely wouldn't recommend him if you're looking for an exciting and modern magic show.
