This december will bear the mark of H.P. Lovecraft, as we’ll be releasing another film inspired by Lovecraft as part of our „Collector’s Series“.
THE CURSE is based on H.P. Lovecraft’s THE COLOUR OUT OF SPACE, and was produced (well, at least on paper) by the „Maestro of Gore“, Lucio Fulci. Truth be told: THE CURSE is not a splatterfilm, but it’s a nice littke 80’s horror movie, with a lot of practical and rather slimy effects, that – up until 2014 – had a place on Germany’s infamous „Index“, which means that it was pretty much a video nasty.
Our edition is the film’s first release on HD in Europe.
