hospitality industry self education The biggest obstacle to learning and developing is simply that most people don t care enough about their own self-education to get started. Dirty floors AC with dust from days or weeks without cleaning Mildew on the walls and ceiling Dirty bathroom curtain Sheet with stains and mattress OMG Under the bed extremely dirty, looks like they haven t cleaned it in years.

#hospitalityindustry Hospitality and excellence ( They’re not friends , right ? ) We need to be good at both . It happens in real life , If you are obsessed with details. #hotelsandresorts Otherwise every single day you allow yourself to deliver a mediocre service . Who cares? It's just another guest , it's just another negative review on social media , right ? #thinkaboutit Your reputation on #tripadvisor , #booking , #expedia , #google etc , pays for it dearly .

You are right. Hospitality and excellence are paramount. I’ve just back from my holiday. We were accommodated in the big hotel. It wasn’t a new building, you could see that. But it didn't matter, because the service was amazing. We saw smiles on each corner, and we felt care in every second spent there. In other words, we felt good, very good. The beautiful facility is nothing without the perfect staff. The perfect staff is everything. I can say that from my point of view, as a customer.
