Witch It is a multiplayer hide-and-seek game that was released on the Steam platform in 2017. The game is developed and published by Barrel Roll Games and is available for Windows, MacOS, and Linux. In the game, players are divided into two teams: the witches and the hunters. The witches have the ability to transform into various objects in the game world, while the hunters are tasked with finding and capturing the witches. The game takes place in a variety of different maps, including villages, forests, and castles, each with its own unique hiding spots and challenges. One of the main features of Witch It is its emphasis on teamwork and strategy.
Part One, The Doctrine of Transcendental Magic, was first published in 1854. This work establishes the concepts behind symbols like the tetragram and pentagram, the significance of Hebrew letters and numbers, and the relationship between science, occultism, and formal religion. L vi was the first to document the meaning of the points of the pentagram. He stated that a pentagram with only one point up and two down is a symbol of the Savior, and a pentagram with two points up and one down is a "symbol of evil and attracts sinister forces."
A complete description of tools like a magical lamp, rod, sword, and dagger follows, leaving the magician well equipped to perform ceremonies and rituals. The first part deals with the theory of magic, including the nature of the universe, the principles of spiritual and material existence, and the laws of nature that govern the practice of magic.
One of the main features of Witch It is its emphasis on teamwork and strategy. As a witch, players must work together to find the best hiding spots and avoid detection by the hunters. Communication and coordination are key to successfully evading capture.
Transcendental Magic: Its Doctrine and Ritual - Softcover
2011 Reprint of 1958 London Edition. Full facsimile of the original edition, not reproduced with Optical Recognition Software. This is Levi's first treatise on magic and was translated into English by Arthur Edward Waite as "Transcendental Magic, its Doctrine and Ritual". Its famous opening lines present the single essential theme of Occultism and gives some of the flavor of its atmosphere: "Behind the veil of all the hieratic and mystical allegories of ancient doctrines, behind the darkness and strange ordeals of all initiations, under the seal of all sacred writings, in the ruins of Nineveh or Thebes, on the crumbling stones of old temples and on the blackened visage of the Assyrian or Egyptian sphinx, in the monstrous or marvelous paintings which interpret to the faithful of India the inspired pages of the Vedas, in the cryptic emblems of our old books on alchemy, in the ceremonies practised at reception by all secret societies, there are found indications of a doctrine which is everywhere the same and everywhere carefully concealed. ( From the Introduction)". Lvi's version of magic became a great success, especially after his death. That Spiritualism was popular on both sides of the Atlantic from the 1850s contributed to this success. His magical teachings were free from obvious fanaticisms; he had nothing to sell, and did not pretend to be the initiate of some ancient or fictitious secret society. He incorporated the Tarot cards into his magical system, and as a result the Tarot has been an important part of the paraphernalia of Western magicians. He had a deep impact on the magic of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn and later on the ex-Golden Dawn member Aleister Crowley. He was also the first to declare that a pentagram or five-pointed star with one point down and two points up represents evil, while a pentagram with one point up and two points down represents good. It was largely through the occultists inspired by him that Lvi is remembered as one of the key founders of the twentieth century revival of magic.

Reviews for "Witch it on Steam: How to Outsmart Your Opponents and Emerge Victorious"
1. Emily - 2/5 stars - I was really excited to play Witch it, but unfortunately it didn't live up to my expectations. The concept is interesting, but the actual gameplay felt repetitive and lacked depth. The maps were small and didn't offer much exploration, and after a few rounds I felt like I had seen everything the game had to offer. Additionally, the controls were clunky and unresponsive at times, making it frustrating to play. Overall, I was disappointed with Witch it and wouldn't recommend it to others.
2. Alex - 1/5 stars - Witch it was a huge letdown for me. The game lacked originality and felt like a cheap knock-off of other similar multiplayer games. The graphics were mediocre at best and the character design was uninspired. I also found the gameplay to be overly simplistic and quickly grew bored of it. There was no real depth or strategy involved, it was just about hiding and seeking with little variation. Overall, Witch it felt like a cash grab and I regretted spending my money on it.
3. Sarah - 2/5 stars - Witch it had potential, but unfortunately, it fell short. The game had a lot of bugs and technical issues that made it difficult to enjoy. The matchmaking system was unreliable and often resulted in long wait times or being matched with players of significantly higher skill levels. On top of that, the balance between the witches and hunters seemed skewed, making it frustrating to play on either side. The concept of the game was unique, but the execution was lacking. I wouldn't recommend Witch it to others unless significant improvements were made.
