Greetings! I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share some exciting news with you: there is a trail that will take you straight to the Ministry of Magic! As you may know, the Ministry of Magic serves as the governing body for the wizarding community. It is a place of great importance, where many crucial decisions are made and where wizards and witches work tirelessly to maintain a balance between the magical and non-magical worlds. The trail starts at a rather inconspicuous location - the entrance to the Leaky Cauldron, a popular pub in Diagon Alley. Upon entering the pub, you'll need to tap a certain brick on the wall to reveal the hidden entrance to Diagon Alley itself. Once in Diagon Alley, you'll need to make your way to the far end, where you'll find a quaint stationary shop called Scribbulus Writing Instruments.

I got invited to go to the Magic Castle this Friday. First thing I did was to search online for parking information, but it seems that they only have valet parking available there. I never valet my car before and hate to do it since I heard many horrific stories about valet parking.
Has anyone been there before and do you know where is the closest self-parking?

With the help of SpotHero, enjoy the convenience of booking a parking spot ahead of time, ensuring you have a space waiting for you when you get to Magic Castle Hotel. Surrounded by the macro billboards and neon lights of Hollywood, The Magic Castle is an invitation-only private members club that looks like it belongs in a snow globe.

Look for a discreet doorway next to the shop, and follow the narrow path beyond it. As you traverse the trail, you'll notice various magical creatures and plants that add to the enchantment of the journey.

I've been there a few times and used their valet service each time without any problems. Appreciate 0

I have been there once and the valet wasn't too bad. If you do prefer to park your own car, when you are driving down Franklin pass magic castle entrance second street make a left and you can park there. Should be about a 3-5 minute walk back to the castle.

Don't forget to add that he and his date (if he brings one) will have to walk up that steep hill to the Magic Castle.

This is true, but I believe there are a set of stairs to walk up. Appreciate 0

Thanks for the replies guys!
It looks like Magic Castle hotel next door has self parking available for 11 dollars overnight. The problem is I don't know if it's for residents only. I might also try Powerbeast's suggestion or, if necessary, valet park.

I'm sure my wife can walk up in her heels.

I've been there and had no issues. What I did was ask "Hey, for a little extra, can you keep it right up front?" and for an extra $5 the parked my car 20 feet from the front door. Easy in, easy out. Parking shouldn't be an issue there

Unless you don't mind a ding, scratch, scrape, dent. just say "no" to valet.

It's not that I think they "intend" to cause any harm, but, simple little things can cause a scratch, scrape, etc.

The Magic Castle is not as cheesy as people have told me it is, and I admire the commitment and creativity of the performers. However, we don’t feel the urge to hang around after the show and head straight to Short Stop in nearby HiFi (Historic Filipinotown) for Motown into the early hours. On a Monday night, might I add. That’s LA for you. No magic necessary.

Keep your eyes open for the elusive Niffler, known for its love of shiny objects, and the Flutterby bush, which produces beautiful, airborne flowers. The trail will take you through the Forbidden Forest, so be prepared for encounters with centaurs and the occasional sighting of a unicorn. After a considerable walk, you'll reach the end of the trail, where the magnificent Ministry of Magic stands tall and proud. The building itself is a sight to behold, with its grand architecture and imposing presence. It symbolizes the strength and unity of the wizarding world. Once inside, you'll find yourself in a bustling environment, filled with wizards and witches going about their daily tasks. Take a moment to observe the different departments that make up the Ministry, such as the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, the Department of International Magical Cooperation, and the Department of Magical Transportation, among others. Each department plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth functioning of the magical world. Being at the Ministry of Magic is a truly magical experience. It allows you to immerse yourself in the rich history and intricate workings of the wizarding community. Whether you're a passionate Harry Potter fan or simply curious about the wonders of the magical world, this trail is a must-visit destination. So gather your wand, put on your robes, and embark on this enchanting journey to the Ministry of Magic. May your exploration be filled with wonder, excitement, and the joy of discovering the secrets that lie within. Sincerely, [Your Name].
