By admin

Wicca is a modern pagan religious movement that worships nature and follows the cycles of the seasons. Wiccans celebrate a number of holidays throughout the year, which are known as Sabbats. In the year 2023, there will be eight major Wiccan holidays, four of which are known as Greater Sabbats and four as Lesser Sabbats. The first holiday of the year is Imbolc, which takes place on February 2nd. Imbolc is a time to celebrate the coming of spring and the awakening of the earth. It is also associated with the Celtic goddess Brigid and is often celebrated with rituals of purification and Candlemas.
